Both Garden of the Gods and Bishop Castle were astounding, and they’re definitely places to check out if you’re ever in the state! Free parking spots are abundant in Colorado, and they can all be found over on the iOverlander app.

Something on my bucket list in Colorado is Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.....a photographers heaven. Check it out if you can. Stay safe on your journey.
We planned on visiting Rocky Mountain, but sadly we could not make it happen this trip. Multiple snow storms and adjusting our route led us to adjust our plans. We will definitely go back one day!

Fun fact, Claire. For my birthday we used to go to Knott's Berry Farm for a steak dinner because they served sherbert alongside the entree.

That is the scariest place y'all have ever been!!! My anxiety is through the roof just watching it. I almost didn't make it through the whole castle!!!! I'm so glad Chad backed off of those stairs!!!!!!! It is very neat, but too high and shaky!!!! Garden of the Gods was beautiful too! And ya gotta love free!!!!!

So beautiful, the shadow from the camels looks like a heart in the sun part in the middle. Glad your not near all the tornados, my brother lives in TN. And there getting brushed with the outskirts of the storms, record amount of tornadoes. So, who got the bigger steak ?? Lol. I’m a huge fan of castles 😊, hope to visit one someday 🙏. Hello Claire, kind of a random question. What kind of knife do you use and what do you use to keep it so sharp?? You guys are awesome!!
So we actually have not sharpened it or anything. Apparently hand washing knives instead of using a dishwasher helps to keep them sharp. As for our knife we are not really sure how it has remained decently sharp. The knife brand name is “epicurious”

You're exploring my neck of the woods! Love it! Bishop Castle is a blast! And nearby Lake Isabel has these great natural water slides for when the weather is warmer. :-) I love your second free camping spot with the Wahatoyas (Spanish Peaks) in the distance. The scenic drive that goes around the peaks and goes through La Veta is wonderful!

Let me preface by saying that I have an inordinate fear of heights, so some of your Bishops Castle footage was missed by me, but I did see enough of it to be thoroughly amazed by the size, and overall grandeur of it - and to think it was all constructed by hand, is mind blowing 🤯
