Michael had a dancer's body, so we chose tight fits and matching fabrics for his concert costumes. He wanted the audience to look at him, not at his clothes. The clothes he preferred also served as protection from the tenacious hands of fans. So when creating suits, we avoided ties, fringes and ruffles, because these were all things people could grab onto.
Dance played an important role in choosing a wardrobe, and vice versa. Creating the concert costumes for him and his tour crew provided an amazing opportunity to explore the intricate connections between song, dance and costume. For example, until his death, Michael wore only Florsheim shoes! I have nothing against black leather loafers that can be bought in any shopping center, but everyone thinks that a person with such fame and money could choose a more expensive brand of shoes. Not Michael. He learned to dance in these shoes when he was a child. They were comfortable, he wore them as a child star. Designers gave him expensive shoes, for example, the same Gucci, but Michael did not wear what was sent because he was afraid that he would not be able to dance in these shoes.
Among the little-known facts about Michael that we learned along the way were the reasons why he never polished his shoes or wore wool or fur; he adored rhinestones, beads and beautiful natural fabrics; he insisted that every costume have some central element to attract attention; we found out what his favorite jacket was, as well as the things he always wanted to wear but never had the opportunity to do; we learned about his love of British monarchs, Egyptian gold, Michelangelo and Bazooka bubble gum. We also got to know Michael the prankster who loved to play pranks on Dennis and me (King of 🤴🏻 style)❤

I should not complain or be greedy. My family had more than one Jackson 5 album growing up in the '70's. When I was too young to work our fabulous record player, I remember looking @ the covers of the albums & falling in ❤ w the one I knew was MJ. Loved him then, love him even more today. And the love continues to grow 🪴
MJ never got stale & neither has my admiration, respect, & love for the most phenomenal entertainer we will ever see 🌠 💖

Anyone who knows anything about Michael Jackson, knows it's the Thriller album. Michael was such a genius when it came to music and such a perfectionist. He was absolutely phenomenal all the way around.

Don't get me wrong, I love your videos and think you're doing a great job with it, but it however seems like you're repeating yourself every time. I mean it's not a secret that Thriller was on of the greatest albums of all time, but you're saying this in most of your videos. Same with other points you've been saying since the begin of your videos. It would be nice if you bring something more new in your videos than just saying the same things as they get boring over time..
