[Quick Guide] Fairytale I - Growing Pains

- Food and armor to kill cb 111 boss which is easily flinch-able or 1 prayer potion if you have 43 prayer
Teleports:
- TP to 5 farm patch protectors (chronicle, Ardy cloak, RoW)
- 2 Draynor
- 1 Falador
- 1 Grand exchange to buy the 3 random items
- 1 Nature altar (Shades of Mort’ton minigame, Salve Graveyard)
- 1 Zanaris (Draynor)
Clean avantoe: Get a grimy avantoe and clean it (if unable: clean in Nardah by paying 200 gp to the herbalist). Grimy avantoes are dropped by Banshees (cb23), hill giants (cb28), skeletons (cb21), chaos druids (cb13) and aberrant spectres (cb96 + 60slayer) or get them via the Sorceress' garden mini game. (autumn or summer garden)
Baby dragon bones: Kill a baby dragon, either green, blue, red or black.
Blue Dragon Scale: Spawn location is near the blue dragon in Taverly dungeon
Charcoal: In the specimen tray at the digsite with a specimen jar or sold in general store of Shilo, Tai Bwo Wannai village or Keldagrim
Crushed gemstone: Fail to cut a gem like Jade, red topaz or Opal. To get these uncuts, mine them in Shilo village or pickpocket h.a.m. members.
Edible seaweed: Kill rock crabs north of Rellekka, Fishing Trawler or Fossil Island
Fat snail: Kill a Buise blamish snails or Blood blamish snails in the mort myre swamp (cb20)
Grapes: Buy from Culinaromancer's chest or Cook's guild
Clean irit leaf: Get a grimy irit and clean it (if unable: clean in Nardah by paying 200 gp to the herbalist). Grimy irits are dropped by Banshees (cb23), hill giants (cb28), chaos duids (cb13) Flesh crawler (cb28,35,41) and aberrant spectres (cb96 + 60slayer) or get them via the Sorceress' garden mini game. (autumn or summer garden)
Jangerberries: Get one from the spawn on a small ogre island East of Caste wars. Use a rope on the tree branch on the west side of island to get on it.
Jogre bones: Kill a jogre on Karamja (at the glider sign, west of the log to cross the river)
King worm: Spawns in the Swamp of Gnome stronghold
Lime: Bought from Hudo or Heckel Funch in the Grand Tree
Mort myre fungi: Bloom a blessed silver sickle next to dead logs
Mort myre pear: Bloom a blessed silver sickle next to dead bush
Mort myre stem: Bloom a blessed silver sickle next to dead branch/twig on the ground (might not work on first attempt)
Nature talisman: Kill abyssal leeches in the abyss. There are a lot more monsters that can drop it but these drop them a bit more commonly and are easier to kill
Potato cactus: Spawns in the Kalphite dungeon, west of Shantay pass. They spawn near the kalphite soldiers
Proboscis: Use a machete on some dense jungle bushes in Tai Bwo wannai until a mosquito swarm spawns, kill one to get 1.
Raw Cave eel: Take fishing rod + bait and enter the lumbridge swamp caves via the lumbridge cellar (go through 2 holes) and enter the only room east to find a puddle where you can fish them.
Red spiders eggs: Spawns in edgeville dungeon, karamja volcano, north of Arandar
Red vine worm: Dig on the red vine in Mc Gruber's wood
Slimey Eel: Take fishing rod + bait and fish in the most eastern room of the Lumbridge swamp caves or in the Mort myre swamp.
Snapdragon: Trade 10 brimhaven agility arena tickets for 1 snapdragon
Snape grass: spawns on waterbirth and on the peninsula west of the crafting guild
Supercompost: empty a compost bin with supercompostable items after rotting for 90 minutes. Easy example would be pineapples since you can buy them from trader crew members.
Uncut diamond: RDT or gem rocks in shilo
Uncut ruby: RDT or gem rocks in shilo
Unopened oyster: big net fishing or dropped by rock crabs, sand crabs, Ammonite crabs and Mudskippers.
Volencia moss: Search the gray rocks in the mine south east of Tai Bwo wannai village and north of Shilo village
White berries: spawns at the lava dragons on lava dragon isle and in Isafdar. Kill Cave Crawlers (cb23) or Chaos Druid warrior (cb37)

Just do shilo village and mine gem rocks. That's how I had to get my uncut ruby for mine.

Tip: just south of the champions guild north of the chicken farm there's another GAG farmer wich is slightly quicker especially if you dont have a fally teleport
Salve graveyard teleport is significantly faster than Shades minigame teleport, just so you know.
11:20 you can use a salve teleport (from the GE) as well if you can't get to that location
Getting those items in a UIM, fun little 3 hour detour that.

BIG WARNING: The fight against Tanglefoot IS INSTANCED. You WILL lose items on death. There are no warnings of this anywhere, and unfortunately I disconnected mid fight with my cash stack on my ironman. Rip the hours of thieving I put in for the money.

-Use lumbridge graveyard telly if you want to get to zanaris faster. Other than that, just make sure you talk to 5 total members and the quest will be fast. :)
-Faster to use this after the high lvl combat fight as well and go back to zanaris to complete the quest.

If you are asked to bring "Volencia Moss" as one of your three items make sure to clean it or else the nature spirit wont enchant the secateurs!

Max hit of 2 with level 1 farming. Learned that the hard way.
if you have edible seaweed make sure to bring the druid pouch(with charges) so it doesnt turn to rotten food making you back track and re run to the druid spirt

I got the same, except i got a nature talisman.... Not even 43 prayer so no clue how i'll kill abyssal creatures, or get one in general. What did you do for herbs? Just kill chaos druids?
im also an iron and my 3 items were white berries, mort myre pear, and mort myre stem. after a quick trip to the wild i got my last 2 items legit right next to the nature spirit guy

If you can not find the godfather you first have to speak to all 5 gardeners
Frizzy Skernip - Spirit tree patch in Port Sarim
Elstan - South Falador allotment patch
Fayeth - Lumbridge tree patch
Dreven - Champions' Guild bush patch
Heskel - Falador Park tree patch
After speaking to all 5 and selecting optipn 2 while talking to them, return to MARTIN in draynor village! Then go to the throne room and boom!!! A deal you can't refuse. Took me a day to figure it out! Good luck -Joe Dragon75

19 year player, first maxed on rs3 in 2012 and have held it there since, max combat in osrs 9 skills from max, 3b bank osrs, 40b bank on rs3, I've never done this quest..... doing Zulrah and figured I'd do it for the cheap tele with fairy rings. It's about time

if part of ur requirement is an herb and ur an ironman and cant clean it u can take it to nardah to have him clean it for 200gp

I got jangerberries in random item and its becoming rotten while i am going to ghost and if some1 has 3 random item has food better bring filled druid pouch. I just run 3 times because of this hope this helps some players
Do NOT use the Shades of Mor'ton tele , use the Salve graveyard tab. It's a lot faster!

This quest took me over 2 hours on my ironman. If you're a low level ironman trying to get fairy rings, I would set aside a couple hours for this quest. Good luck!

I got volencia moss and it turns out you can't get it until you do jungle potion........ wonderful
and in that moment I went back to skilling

Your guides are good buy if you don't have the correct tellys it's almost impossible to follow as you don't show where the places are
I just completed it and killed Tanglefoot at combat level 59, full rune set and farming level 1. Had to use 1x Tuna, without safespotting. Just to point out the difficulty of the fight.
