A little bit to the left of those rocks we used to tie a rope from one side to the other and there would be dozens of us hanging on the rope while the waves rammed through the rocks... If you'd let go you could have died.... I got swept once and almost drowned but I know people that have died there where people call it "La compartidura" the compartment and also a tall rock to the right called EL CORSARIO which fills a huge hole with water and it goes up and down as the waves come in... This brings me back memories on how we waited for storms or hurricanes just to go to the beach and play russian roulette with our lives just for fun. Damn

The scale of the ocean is unfathomably large. My father once sailed from St John's, NL to Toronto through the gulf of the St Laurence. One minute you're sitting at the bottom of a canyon and UT appears as though you will be engulfed by a wave the size of an apartment building, and the next the water undulates and you sit at the peak of a mountain staring down at the depths below. I did not have the constitution to take that trip with him. The images in my mind alone are absolutely breathtaking and in real life I'm sure up felt like a nightmare of inimaginable scale

The best beach in Vega Baja. I feel very proud of that place in my country, FROM PUERTO RICO TO THE WORLD!!. The other cool thing about that stone wall is that there is a small spot where you can sit. When the tides hits the stone wall, the small waterfall formed hits you in the shoulders and is a perfect therapy for the pain in the neck and shoulders. You must go there and sit, to have an awesome experience.

*****, lol. That natural barrier is huge in height, length and depth, but some seasons the waves behind it crashes on it making the water run over the top of that barrier making some sort of waterfall but not harmful. You have to go there and see it with your own eyes. Highly recommended place.

Why?, because it's the same thing our ancestors overcame to be as great as they were. And when you overcome those types of fears it gives you something in return. Soul Enlightenment. Normal horrifying experiences in our lives are horrifying without taking dmt, so when you conquer the most horrifying (dmt), you learn to fear nothing (only instinctive fear) and to learn from fear and appreciate not worrying

Damn

As a teenager one night 40 years ago we went fishing to the top of those rocks and all of a sudden, the sea threw a massive wave at us that almost swept us off... we got lucky that it did not. This year I went back to film with a drone on mother's day and recorded the clearest water I have ever seen on the most beautiful day ( video is on my channel )
