The Red Ranger helmet looks so much better.
Way better. I can't tell if it would be perfect or not if they painted the rest of the silver on the mouth. It's at least very close now! Wish they could get the sculpt & paint job right at the same time. But,

I remember as a kid, they were teasing the metallic armor and I legitimately thought they were going to use a refurbished version of the 1995 movie suits. I was so freakin' excited.
But nope, we just got the same ol' spandex suits, but with glitter added.
I was *massively* disappointed.
LOVED the shiny suits! They were pretty. 🙂 We already had the movie suits in the movie. I appreciated the show for what it was, that's what made it great, for me, anyway.

I really like the metallics. I'm hoping to use the ZAP megazord really to make the Dragonzord in Battle mode because Legacy did the perfect Dragonzord. I have the SOC for the main guy. Legacy is sitting in Titanus.
Guess we wait for another Tommy 2-pack or something for his Metallic Armor... and WHERE'S DINO THUNDER BLACK!? AND MY MASTER MORPHER (both LC figure scale and life-size replica)!?
Speaking of Metallic Armor Tommy, they should also add the oft-forgotten Power Bazooka (who am I kidding, it's the Kiryoku Bazooka from Dairanger, one massive piece) along with more bazooka weapons like the Zeo Cannon and Zeo Blaster, since they bothered giving us Rocky's tonfas with a solo release Cog.
I type this on every metallic video, but the metallic costumes could have easily been the Dairanger costumes. Saban missed a great opportunity to switch over.

The figures looked good, but I already had a 7 member MMPR team, saying that Tommy's brother David Trueheart (played by his real life brother) was now the Green Ranger! I now have 8 MMPR as I just recieved my Scorpina/Aisha Yellow Ranger. I have the Kat 2 pack coming which will give me 9 MMPR and I have the April O'Neal Pink/Turtle 2 pack coming which will give me a 10 member MMPR team. That now is bizarre as Dino Charge was the one team I decided not to get because it was a large 10 member team and I only really like about 7 of them. Lightning Collection! Finish some team! We only need Elizabeth 'Z' Delgado/Yellow to finish SPD, although an Orange Kat Manx would be awesome, and we are about halfway through Dino Thunder and Lost Galaxy! With what I still have coming I will have MMPR, Zeo, and In Space complete!

I have a two part answer... the first part is we post a video for everything. So if it feels like videos are further apart, that is due to how long it takes us to actually get the toys. Our vlog channel has a ton of videos showing how often we go out looking for the figures (the same figures we've pre-ordered, which also take forever to ship, just keep searching until something shows up at home or is found in the store).
Part 2 is, this channel costs a fortune to run. We're at the end of what we can afford on our end. That's why we introduced memberships in this video. We've certainly put the work in over the past 14 years as the world's first (and longest running) all-things Power Rangers toy channel. Hopefully some of our subscribers would like to help support us now and keep the channel running. So far (3,000 views in) we're at zero members, but hopefully it'll pick up. We can't keep this channel going w/o our viewers showing support.

Watching you using the hair dryer made me wonder... It's the head piece of the magna defender LC removable? Mine feels tight as all hell and I don't want to break it so now I wonder if it's a tightness thing or since it doesn't have a proper head replacement it's not removable
Now I can't remember if I've taken off his head... seems like if they got it on, it would come back off...? But, if it seems like it's on there good, I'd heat it up and do it carefully. If it's not coming off, then I'd leave it alone.

Exactly why I'm not buying them, if they wanted to make new figures, change to the suits that match the zords for crying out loud.

If you break the knob on the body head wise blue sticky tact inside the head molds will keep head/helmet attached and posabke and you cam easily remove tact it when needed

(This is exactly why I did it. That was to get around all of the "Where's Tommy?!?" comments. So far it seems to have worked.

I remember most of Season 3 really clearly (was a big fan of that lineup of zords, Ninjor, the ninja stuff in general, Master Vile, etc.) and yet... I completely forgot the Metallic Armor was a thing.
I did have the shiny metallic versions of the White and Yellow Ranger toys as a kid, but I think those were from the movie toyline (...which for some reason didn't actually use the movie's versions of the suits, whoops!) I remember they were built like the Auto-Morphin figures but without the flippable head.
I preordered the megazord. Haven’t dove into the lightning collection despite always being so tempted. I figure collecting megazords is a good way to collect some PR stuff without the hassle of trying to complete full PR teams with dozens of 6 inch figures.

I am always so amazed at how close you can make your dioramas look to the sets back in the day. That alone makes me love watching these even if you can't do animations at the moment.

As for new figures, I'm currently hoping for the following: Diabolico(Lightspeed Rescue), Zeltrax and Mezagog(Dino Thunder),
Fraxx(Time Force), Treacheron and Villamax(Lost Galaxy), Jindrax and Toxica(Wild Force), as well as a re-release of Dino Thunder White
with a better paint job(last one's a stretch).

Oo ok this finally made me want them. And with Hasbro seemingly getting rid of plastic windows on lightning collection boxes in the future (a terrible decision), these GLITTERY boxes will probably one day be retrospectively viewed as a crime against the earth. Surely that's worth buying 😂

@@powerrangertube probably so we can't judge from the outside if the figure has the quality assurance to be worth buying. If they really go through with it buying these things will be a nightmare. I've seen several Zeo Greens in person and not a single one has consistent paint work on its helmet lines.

I do love what they are doing and understand that Mighty Morphin are some of the most liked seasons. But it dosnt kind of suck they keep releasing mighty morphin non stop (somewhat) but also understand why. They are still doing amazing work. As are you guys!!! Keep it up
I know this is a stretch, but I would love it if Hasbro re-released Dino Thunder White with a better paint job.
@@nine_tails137 We probably will see that figure again with the new helmet. Honestly that they had those replacement heads ready to go leads me to think it was a legit mistake. I also feel Walgreens didn't have that figure for too long in comparison to other products. So I think when they get close to pulling out DT Black, they'll pull out DT White once more.
@@DesignIncase I sure hope so? Cause having to spend extra money just to get a replacement head, is very inefficient. Now, you're probably gonna say the new head is free, but that still doesn't change the fact you have to contact Hasbro, and give them all the info, for them to mail you a new head. When I spend money on something, I expect a complete product. Not a half-assed job.

@@MegaMattStudios I'm mostly hoping for specific villains, such as: Eclyptor(I heard he's coming), Villamax and Treacheron(Lost Galaxy), Diabolico(Lightspeed Rescue), Fraxx(Time Force), Zeltrax and Mesagog(Dino Thunder) King Mondo, Queen Machina, Prince Sprocket, Gasket and Archerina(Zeo), etc.
As for rangers, I'm still waiting on the rest of the Galaxy Rangers, as well as hopefully getting the Time Force Rangers. But again, I'd rather not dump that many requests on Hasbro all at once. Just focus on getting me a good Eclyptor, and we'll go from there.

Hey Bruno..did the drying issue happen only with the metallic figures or do you do it for every figure when taking the helmets off?
If the plastic could snap, then I heat. That goes for anything at all. It's very easy to break the hands when pulling them out. Some people also break the necks when changing heads. There's no guide to what will and won't break. You have to just be cautious. Does it feel like (thing in question) is not coming off easily? Warm it up. Does (thing in question) seem fragile? Warm it up. I haven't had too many issues personally with things breaking, but some of that is also b/c I'm careful. I did break white ranger's hand in the first wave trying to swap hands. I was lazy and didn't warm it up. And of course, it broke.

I still really really want to buy the Megazord, it looks awesome and it can't wait to see what (Mega)zords they will do next (besides the dragon zord).
That said, right now a little too expensive for me so I will have to wait and see when it comes out.

I am glad they acknowledged the whole color change with Aisha cause she would turn gold when using the metallic armor but hasbro has been more fails then wins with the power rangers we need people who are willing to take the time to get the lightning collection better like the team working on the hasbro ghostbusters collection cause they took their time and went over their proton pack with a fine tooth comb to make sure it was as exact to them movie pack as they could get it for example I also have seen whole CZcams videos about why people have given up on the lightning collection a lot of them were the same reasons
Really cool figs. I think that the fact that they can’t ever get it perfect (despite their resources) is an argument for going in on the super 7 figures. I know super 7 will make a show accurate sculpt and I’ll get all the accessories I’ve ever wanted. Plus hand swaps.
I do realize that if you’re somebody who wants everything in scale and you want other seasons of rangers, you’re stuck with these. But for people who are really only nostalgic for mighty morphin, those make a lot of sense if you can be patient.

Kinda glad they released these as I didn't get in on the Lightning Collection when they first came out. Had all the Legacy figures before Hasbro bought the Power Rangers IP. Lightning is definitely the better collection of figures than those ridiculously over exaggerated Legacy ones.
Is there any word on when the TMNT Rangers will be releasing? Definitely getting those when they come out.
I want the Metallic Ranger Set. I have Pink. They are just incredibly expensive to ship to Canada via Pulse. Need a sale to help me out Hasbro. Love the improved helmets. Also really like that the deco is consistent across the ENTIRE figure. Pinks and Golds have been especially bad for LC.
Pre Ordered a Megazord of course. I will say the Pulse team 100% bombed their presentation for it. Should have been showcased so much better. Let designers design and let's get a better marketing team on the brand. I still feel Hasbro does not quite have a handle on Power Rangers and it does not get the attention to detail that their other brands have.
They could also keep the "unboxing experience" if it meant deco on the mini cockpit rangers, working treads on Triceratops and rolling wheels on the Sabertooth Tiger. Just my 2 cents. Overall it looks like it will be an impressive version of the Dinozords.

The only thing that makes me think of is the time I did a Power Rangers Godzilla team-up in 2014 and people got mad at me. Well, I used Godzilla as a monster that silver ranger blew up. Evidently that's not allowed to happen.

Ya know I was a MMPR fan as a kid but I do not remember Metallic Armor at all. I remember shogun cords and next thing I remember happening is the rangers became kids.
It was right between that. They used it a handful of times. Same suits, but metallic. They were wearing the metallic armor when Tommy broke the ZEO crystal to hide it from Master Vile. MMPRtoys Were the Metallic Arm right before Zeo, and that's why the Zeo crystal's were introduced in season 3? I was always confused on that part.
Metallic Armor is a MMPR Power Up. They introduce the ZEO Crystal to ease into the new season, Power Rangers ZEO, with a 10 park miniseries where the rangers have to find the ZEO Crystal pieces (while the Alien Rangers take over fighting on earth). ZEO was the first costume change for the show, they didn't want to just abruptly come back with a different show the next season, so they spent time during MMPR introducing the ZEO Crystal. The metallic armor is a separate thought though.
Bruno, aren't you going to buy & review the newly released threezero figures?
No. We've spent three months documenting the hostage move we were victims of. How that ended. The additional damage to our property. How much that did (and still is) costing us... and before that, general frustration with both channels due to lack of interest/engagement/community support. The figures in question cost $550. So the video would need to generate at least that much to make the purchase worth it on our end. That means we either need more engaged viewers clicking on the videos and actually watching them, or we need some viewers to considering hitting the join button introduced in this video. We're up to almost 3,000 views on this video and I haven't seen a single member yet. Not even 400 thumbs up yet. You can probably imagine how much work went into making this video. There's just not a lot of support for the work we do, and we're coming to the end of what we can afford on our own. We need people watching the videos and becoming members. Otherwise we have to figure something else out entirely. 😕

I'm sure it would have been resin. I can't think of too many other materials that would have made sense for that.

I've had Legacy Dragonzord for a few years now.
I just missed out on Legacy Titanus, since I didn't know about him soon enough.
So, I had to go with the Black and Gold version, since it was the cheapest.

Metallic mmpr rangers are about the only variant figures I approve of... I hate variants... ptsd from the Kenner Batman days!
The zap megazord kinda pisses me off after spending close to $400 on soc megazord and dragonzord but I get it... hopefully the zap line doesn't get cancelled before we get shogun megazord, serpentara and that turtle zord thingy from season 2, I loved the legacy zords but they came out slower than a snails pace pretty much guaranteeing they line would be cancelled before mmpr was finished... I'm still pissed that jakks Pacific big figs megazord was cancelled!
Eh? Legacy Megazord came out in 2013, but I don't think a whole line was really planned until they saw the demand. In a little under 4 years, we got Megazord, Dragonzord, Titanus (& black/gold variants). We got Thunder Megazord & Tigerzord. We got Ninja Megazord & Falconzord. We got Legacy Morpher, Gold Morpher, Dragon Dagger, Saba, Blade Blaster, Power Sword. We got Movie red, blue, pink, and white morphers. We got 2017 coins. We got Dino & Ninja coin sets. We got Red helmet, Green helmet, and Red movie helmet. We got communicators, Zeonizer, Golden Power Staff... they were turning out things like crazy, but sales were declining after MMPR season 1. That was in one of my videos with Tony, I believe... towards the end. They were going to try to space things out a bit more to give fans a chance to save up I guess. Things weren't selling. At one of my last meetings at Bandai they were trying to decide between Legacy Serpentera & Shogun for the next release, but, sadly neither happened. At this point, Hasbro's had Power Rangers for almost the same amount of time that Bandai was doing legacy.
If they're going to be making a megazord collection line up I'm just hoping they make power rangers SPD's megazord apart of the first wave because I've been wanting an updated version of that like forever! 😫
Nice video Bruno, unfortunately I can’t do the membership thing ( price) however I do like the little cartoon emojis Mia made ( mostly the rainbow heart and red samurai symbol) thanks for the tip with the hairdryer for the lightning collection figures as well ps I’ve always wondered how they got their sparkly suits ( I always thought alpha had a glitter glue gun somewhere) also don’t worry I’m pretty sure that we might get a wearable sparkly helmet sometime in the future
Well, I really hope a few people will find the join button. We've been running this channel for 14 years now, and it's getting a lot harder to keep it going on our end, for a good variety of reasons. Memberships are just $2.99, pretty sure you can cancel after just one month. If half of our subs became members for just a month, this channel would be funded for years. We work so, so, hard on our various channels and they're not funding themselves anymore. Hope we'll find some members.

We launched memberships b/c this channel has run out of funding. Certainly no $$$ for a set of $550 figures that I wouldn't buy for my personal collection.

I understand why the include civilian heads but I honestly don’t ever use them. I’m trying to limit my collecting now and while these are cool I’ve go to pass on them. It hurts alone knowing what I’ve currently got preordered.

100% no. This channel isn't funding the toys we use to make the videos, and those are over $500. I'm really hoping, after 14 years of content, maybe some of our subs will become members, so we can keep the channel alive...? It's so expensive to run on our end.
