- Watch me disassemble this Eaton fuller fro16210c in under 13 minutes. This unit had multiple rows of broken teeth in the front box section of the transmission and tons of wear in the auxiliary section. This model 10 speed is very common. @etrtruckcenterenginedrivet8918

12 min? I thought I was fast doing them in 45ish! Granted that is including disassembly of shift cover and pressing the counter shafts aswell.

How much would an overhaul like this cost & how much time does it take??
I have 1.2 million miles on mine no issues bc I don't haul heavy loads dont drive fast and keep oil changed

The front box countershaft bearing puller is a G-246 and the Aux countershaft bearing puller is a G-247. The G-247 comes with just the collets only the 246 comes with the front bearing collets and the puller

Man, I have a 10spd EF manual and the truck is essentially undrivable at 55MPH. I need a gear between 9th and 10th.

I have the same transmission I just purchased another one mine has a hydraulic slave cylinder the one I purchase does not can I change the bell housing from one to another?
The transmission that you purchased has a bell housing allready on it?
You should be able to change the bell housing no problem as long as there the same model trans.
Yes sir they’re both the same exact model as what you’re working on the only difference is one has the rod clutch mine has the hydraulic slave cylinder but yes I still have both built houses I just didn’t want to do all that work and then it not work
Shouldn’t be a problem swapping the bell housings over don’t use silicon. bell housing gasket # is a 4308226

Assembly is easy after you've done enough of them it's like clockwork. I've been rebuilding these for a little over a year
