I love this man, and his family. I don't know them personally, but you can just tell they're good people. I pray for him, I pray for his family. God is with them all. 🙏❤️ Amen.
Sorry, we can't "TELL" anything by looking at a screen if anyone is good people or not. We can take your word that they're decent people. But we can't TELL anything without personally knowing a person. Even then sometimes you still don't know a person as well as we think we do. Plenty of infamous criminals have proven this. They're called psychopaths. Easily wearing a proverbial mask that hide their nefarious intentions. But with that said, I hope they do find him (preferably alive), but pragmatically we know what the they'll more than likely find. RIP
I love the open way his son spoke of their faith, the the news actually covered it and most of all the certainty of when his son said, “we know where he is” ❤️
That creek was flowing like a raging river after the storm so I hope they're looking down stream also. I'm so sorry for this family and hope they get some closure soon.
@LisaP-pd6nq It was a mobile home, not a multi story building like you see in earthquake ravaged third world countries. There's only so much space you have to search. Alive or not, he was likely ejected from the structure.
I absolutely love his attitude. I also live in Oklahoma & thank God I wasn't affected by the tornados. My heart goes out to everyone affected. If his father isn't found, he's in a better place. But you never know, miracles do happen. I will keep this family as well as all others who have lost all. Material things can always be replaced people cannot.
Praying for him and his family. I wonder how far the tornado could have carried him and if they are looking far enough out. There sure are a lot of people of faith that have been speaking about their miracles and peace from all this destruction lately.
Praying for Mr. Hogue to be found soon and for his family in the days ahead without their loved one. Also, praying for the entire community of Barnsdall as they work through the devastation.
If a baby was blown a mile from the house in another town, then he’s probably far away from his original spot too 😩 I’m praying for the family. It’s so hard, but knowing he could be with Jesus does bring comfort
Not sure why this report says the creek is two miles from his home - maybe they were searching the creek 2 miles from his home thinking his body may have washed down stream. His mobile home was literally right next to the creek - about 150 feet. I imagine most of the debris from his mobile home either ended up in the creek or on the other side of the creek.
It sounds like Wayne originally had no intention of leaving despite knowing the danger headed his way. His daughter said he told her he was gonna stay in his home and listen to gospel music. However, since his truck was found running with the driver door curled into the hood at an awkward angle, I'm guessing he tried to flee at the last possible moment and got caught in the tornado.
Wrapping my arms around you Wayne; there are no stranger's with Jesus as our Brother. Three days is a Jesus thing and I feel confident he will be FOUND.
I think they should’ve had someone go and get him and force him to get to safety, we know elders can be stubborn, but now they are missing him, and affected by his loss. They are a strong family. I’d be devastated if my parents chose to stay
At even 82 years old, my Dad had all his faculties and there's no way he would let someone come get him due to a tornado. Some people are extremely stubborn.
If he was still alive, he would have shown up by now. The only things that would prevent it would be a terrible injury or his passing. It's been warm, so unfortunately they'll smell him before they see him. If he's alive and injured badly, he's running out of time there too because it's been days with no food or water. I really hope they find him in the morning.
This is an immature and uncalled for comment. He's strong in his faith. For believers, we know where our souls end up. The body is just an empty shell. Instead of offering unfounded judgment on a grieving family, go out and do something good for someone else today. It'll change your worldview and your heart for the better.

I pray he’s found soon.
He described greatness! The salt of the earth! I pray they find him.
I love the open way his son spoke of their faith, the the news actually covered it and most of all the certainty of when his son said, “we know where he is” ❤️
God bless this family. He sounded like a wonderful and Godly man.
Awful…I’m very glad his son was able to talk with him before this. Still, this is heart rending.

Our prayers are with you all. I'm so sorry. I can't imagine.
I really hope they find his body. We already know he’s dead. It’s just a matter of finding him and laying him to rest. Rest in peace, sir.
Not necessarily!! They’ve pulled even old folks and babies out of tornadoes and earthquakes well after the event before!!
81 years old, mobile home, EF4 tornado if hes alive it would be an absolute miracle

Please Jesus give this family closure in finding their father

They said the tornado hit quickly. He called him when it the tornado already started touching down. The son wouldn’t have had anytime.

Was he found yet?
vultures are the best locators
He doesn’t sound too heartbroken over losing his dad. Probably looking to collect life insurance on him 🤦🏼♀️

Everyone grieves differently. They're a family of faith and trust in God.
I can hear the grief in his voice. He’s not going to cry and carrying on to satisfy judgmental people like yourself.
I pray they find him.
