  • Over the weekend, we acquired these from our local hobby shop, Big Hill Hobbies. There are four different construction vehicles, each sold separately. We bought all four! The set includes a dump truck, loader, track type tractor & excavator. These are quite impressive for what all moves on them for the price. With a price point below $100 each, there are several parts on each that move. You will notice we tested these out in garden soil it was packed and MOIST heavy soil!!! We do plan on testing them in other types of dirt, including sand. One thing we did notice, and not sure how we feel about it just yet, but the loader and dump truck are only 2wd. This makes it sort of difficult to move, depending on the type of ground you are moving on. Check it out!

How has the excavator held up since you posted this? My son and I are looking for an rc excavator to match in scale with our scx24s and this one looks great! Price is good too. The sound of the grinding gears is a bit disconcerting as well as the parts of the video where you weren't able to get the full scoop when it looked like it would be able to. Also, what are your thoughts on the whole collection? I like that they made others in the same scale and detail.
    Thanks.

The soil was completely soaked from the day before, this is with out fluffed soil so it’s pretty compact in there. I got another one I like them so well. And the scale of the entire line up is spot on to our 1/24 crawlers. Best bang for the buck.

@@davidrcbasher4412 Thanks for the info! That's good news then. How's the movement? It looks a bit jerky, is it proportional control?
I was looking at their 1:20 excavator and really like it, then I saw the price. I'm not made of collector money lol.

@@jonathanyoon8651 you’re welcome they’re not proportional so a little jerky. But not horrible for the size. And I was still learning things.

@@davidrcbasher4412 Thanks again for the info. How do you feel has been the durability? Have any of the motors burnt out or gears stripped? Also, are you able to dig hard-packed dirt?

I would recommend these for sand, but mine did pretty well for packed wet garden soil.

Wat a shame , they put so much in to the looks , and nothing in the machine , no tilt , no power , no movability , and only 2 two wheel drive , not good ,

True, however the Dozer and the excavator are quite worthy of the price.
