Hi, author of Lost Cities mod here. I'm actually in the process of fixing the issue with tall buildings. Hopefully later today I'll have a fixed version ready
This modpack would be cool with cars. Just imagine driving down a city or desert biome and seeing zombies passing by, and seeing them it would show how many poor souls fell into the deadly clutches of those brainless ghouls.
hey, important reminder: since your world will not spawn any creeper after bad mobs, you need some craftable gunpowder mod, to actually use the guns in survival
This combo is great, but I would throw in OnlyLooking too, because it allows you to sneak past zombies, and also, it balances really well with high detection ranges from the Farsighted mod
I 100% agree. Honestly, I think it's necessary if you want any kind of gameplay; it's gonna be too difficult to do anything else besides fight zombies if you can't sneak past.
I would recommend adding the timeless and guns add-on for mr crayfishes gun mod because it adds more guns with them all looking more realistic, new gun enchants, and overall makes the mod more fun and enjoyable. Hope this helps!
Really cool! I think it'd be neat if there was a way to have more zombies in the cities than outside. Then, you change the loot tables so guns, ammo, and drops from the deleted mobs ONLY spawn in city chests.
Usually when theres a mechanic missing i just download the mod myself... but holy moly changing loot tables and recipes is a true pain in the ass, unfortunate the loot tables werent changed on the modpack
@@gabrielmourao2854 I don't make mods/datapacks, but the Minecraft Devs have been going through and making more things Tag-based. That might make changing loot tables easier now than it used to be.

A good day always starts with a video of AsianHalfSquat !✨ Watching him, I also try really hard to work on my content, and I put a lot of effort into making my 100 days of hardcore in a nuclear apocalypse videos as I wanna make it awesome!
I feel like the zombies in daytime should spawn less frequently and see you from a shorter distance, generally more docile maybe even more quiet. I think this would improve the modpack by making it easier to scavenge for resources during the day but you still might get caught by a silent zombie in the corner.
If the raiders mod was still being updated, it could work fantasticly in this modpack as long as the spawning rates are turned down. It would make it seem as though there are other people trying to survive the apocalypse with some of them being friendly but most being aggressive.
YESSSS!!! I saw the title and went “HELL YEAH” because I remember really wanting to try your set up from years ago, but wanting it on the modern version. 😹 I was hopeful this is an updated version, and in 12 seconds I’ve my answer. Hell yeah!
You should've added epic fights mod incase you wanted to use melee weapons and some weapon mods You should've also included a music mod to make it even better for wondering around Also another thing is some mutated mobs mod to add bosses like monsters in your world that you have to come across
Unfortunately, tissue zombie pack does'nt work well along with Epic fight, for some reason only one texture of zombie appears and that kills the point of it. I wonder if there are some other randomized texture packs for zombies that might work well
For one of these zombie apocalypse mod packs it would be cool if zombies could break things but every block sort of had a health to break it, so you could protect weak block by distracting zombies to a trap, and there were also new blocks maybe not as strong as obsidian but a better flown between durable blocks to use, like maybe worn down concrete, sand bags, nailed planks, reinforced concrete, etc.
You always make amazing mod packs and mod videos. The only thing I'd see an issue with is if the armor was more modern to fit the theme but that may not be available.
Amazing update on the first apocalypse video. I was trying to build one by my own when the first one came out, but I found a hard time to make resource renewable, like weapons, pistols and healing item. The lost cities mod has loot chest set up in the first place, but I still did not figure out how to customize its loot pool. As same as adding vehicle to the world. I thought it would be great to randomly find abandoned vehicles when exploring the world.
It would be even better when you could make them respond to sound instead of distance alone. Upon for instance using a gun the sound alerts nearby zombies and makes them wander to the location of the sound. They'll wander around that spot for some time slowly going back to their last location or randomly wander into any direction. However, once they do see you they'll come after you. This would also keep swords useful since they don't make sound compared to guns. To make it harder swords could still have an "alerting-range", but much smaller (e.g. 8 blocks for swords and 64 for guns)
for the gun mod, i wouldve recommended Timeless and Classics, they have amazing animations and amazing gun models. i use it for my zombie apocalypse modpack and i can say with positivity i dont regret it
I think Stoneholm would fit in well, it adds underground villages which could be like bunkers. There are also no new modded blocks, items or mobs in it.
I feel as if it would be probably improved with maybe a somewhat better armor mod just in case, other then that, I am not 100% sure on what else would improve that mod pack
Asian, I have an idea. In order to kind of fix the zombies turning to default once killed, you can make a special zombie skin where he looks completely rekt n bloody which is kind of universal for every zombie that died. This way it kind of makes sense.
I recommend installing a premade map of a "city zombie apocalypse" theme, there are a lot in PLANET MINECRAFT page, these are a lot more interesting than the repetitive buildings of the Lost cities mod
Mod idea: Zombies don't burn during the day, during the night they have longer view and move faster, but during the day they barely move and don't notice you unless you're within 5 blocks, or 1 if you're sneaking, and when they notice you, it alerts other zombies in the area.
would be amazing if yall remember the modpack called crafting dead, it had a feature where you can make any world etc even custom spawn random loot on the ground like guns bandages etc it was so good... i wished it was a separate mod and up to date
A vechile mod would fit great here The Vending machines mod could give you a place to buy guns and ammo "Only looking" would make sneaking around zombies possible Just some additions I think would fit
I already tested some of these mods together, and for immersion it works well! But there is still the same problem: the way to get resources... it's not very immersive to have to mine, craft or whatever in a zombie apocalypse... I think it would be wise to find an alternative to this system.
How is having to mine for resources or craft things you need to survive not immersive in a ZA? Lmfao. I could understand being tentative about mining, but the crafting aspect being unimmersive? Wild.
@@ArtOfCon-troll I guess it’s just kinda the way stuff is crafted not being very immersive or realistic. The concept of crafting system in a zombie apocalypse game is fine tho

For the gun mod I actually recommend Vics Modern Warfare instead of the one you listed. The guns are more realistic and I personally find them more enjoyable. It also spawns raiders/bandits with guns for you to fight to add on to the zombie apocalypse setting.

Its pretty fun on servers with friends as it adds an infection the player can contract, adds to the immersion imo. Its a pretty customizable mod and can be pretty different to play around with without taking away from the zombie apocalypse feel (in my experience the average zombies do still agro to you even when infected)
I feel like Vic's Modern Warfare would a better weapons mod to install, since it has a lot more content and is significantly more in-depth. I'd also add some sort of loot chests/spawns for the map, so you can actually get the gear.
If only sneaking pass them and or distracting them with thrown objects like how you would a warden was an option and it would really be a tense and fuller experience as there’s more options to dealing with hordes other than emptying your guns on them
Hey once this modpack comes out on forge you can manually add the mods you want, first go to home, then the modpack, then mods, and add more content, then search for what you want.
This is a cool concept and great video, however one thing i've noticed in your modpacks to critique about is that no mods nor effort has been provided to create a "unique gameplay loop" - most modpacks created/customized in many of your videos are tailored to only specific scenarios/scenes, and in this case/video, tailored for just you and your team gunning down zombies. Where's the start? the racking up of supplies? do you even loot buildings to get your "guns"? The video instantly jumped into full diamond armor members, with fully kitted guns run and gunning zombies, that's only fun for
I feel mixed about this, hoping it has the same feel as one of those walking dead servers where you actually have to go to abandoned cities and loot guns and equipment from chests and build a small shack out of twigs, with a safezone and all. just having an abandoned cities preset kind of sucks, hopefully theres an option to scatter multiple presets, like abandoned cities, then plains then forests and deserts etc. and also it makes more sense for zombies to spawn in mass in a place like cities, whereas they should spawn independently in somewhere like a forest.
