These 28 mods and 2 resource packs transform Minecraft into a zombie apocalypse. All these mods and resource packs are available for 1.19.2, which is currently the newest version of Minecraft. Some of the mods don't necessarily change zombies, but add to the apocalyptic experience by adding new survival mechanics, forms of transportation, structures, etc.

Make sure to select the newest version in the files to get all the latest content. Just keep in mind that versions beyond version 2 (eg version 3) include more mods than what is covered in this video.

You should try out my 1.12.2 zombie modpack. Its not perfect but i think its cool. right now it has 62 mods but im always changing things around. You can also tweak it.

If anyone wants to take this even further, they could add parkour mods like parcool. I like this setup and I tried it for myself, it's just amazing but for me, I like to add more mods.
Thanks for making this. Just getting into Minecraft and imagine my disappointment when after installing Decimation, I found out there's no way to get the map for it. This is awesome though
May I suggest GregTech?
It's only for 1.7.10 and 1.12.2, but it's amazing. (If you have a year of your life gathering clay on your schedule, that is.)
You should also add in no punching trees and immersive engineering also you should add in a nutrition mod wich makes you eat different foods to increase your max health and replace farmer's delight with Pam's harvestcraft

Just add ParCool! with a grapplehook mod and you have dying light-like gameplay
I'm building a survival mod pack which I intend to give improved and scarier Zombies, so I've been looking into how to do it.
For smarter Zombies, I recommend *Zombie Awareness* , which gives Zombies overall better AI. They have a horde-like mentality, creating clumps of Zombies and allowing one Zombie to alert the others if it spots prey much like in zombie games like Dying Light. They're attracted to player-generated sounds and artificial light sources and can smell and track blood spilled by damage.
If you wanna give players a stealth option, I'd recommend *Cloak and Dagger* or *OnlyLooking* . It allows you to sneak around Zombies or get close for a surprise attack without alerting them, which would complement the above mod very well.
I also recommend the new *Enemy Expansion* mod, which adds alternate versions of vanilla mobs with unique traits.
For my mod pack's difficulty, I'm going for a "semi-hardcore" mode with *Unhealthy Dying* , where death doesn't lock you in Spectator Mode instantly but instead takes away one of your Hearts, allowing you to respawn while also making you more vulnerable. Should you run out of Hearts, you'd be locked in Spectator. And I have *Scaling Health* to generate rare and consumable Heart Crystals for regaining Hearts, making exploration and mining more essential in players' survival.

hello, nice video, how do you use optifinie while using fabric/quilt and/or forge for the other mods? i m using iris on quilt for the shaders and a fork of fresh animations with a fork of CEM to make fresh animations work but do you have a simpler solution?
i know there is optifabric but it lags quite a bit and doesnt always work right with the ressource pack

Well, optifine should work with fresh animations and any mods on Forge if you put optifine in your mods folder. As for Fabric, I'm not really sure.

iris and sodium are better than optifine. there is a forge port of it called oculus and rubidium

you should also add apocalypse now since it adds alot of cool armors and weapons
i keep getting error code 1 when launching from curseforge i added optifine 1.19.2 H9 and even ran the version on the launcher without any mods so optifine should work as intended but i still cant launch
Is there a map that goes with this? I loaded a new Creative World just to test it and I wasn't able to find cars, guns, and even the modded zombies didn't spawn, and I was allowed to spawn in default zombies. Any ideas on what this could be?
There is no map, so guns and cars will have to be crafted. The modpack does not add any modded zombies; it just provides a resource pack that changes vanilla zombies' sounds and appearance.
Im not sure whats wrong with ur spawns, u checked the configs? I know a vanilla friendly Map mod, called: Atlas.
I installed this mod on tlauncher and launched it but it just couldn"t load the physics mod. I tried deleting but it didn't work. Any Fixes?
so i have 2 questions, first can i find it in the aternos modpacks? because i went to the servger and they said they didnt allow 3rd party downloads
second when i play normally its totally fine but when i insert optifine it doesnt let me enter the game. it says it crashes automatically but without it its perfectly fine
To answer your first question, I don't know much about Aternos or how it works, but I do know that I set the license of the modpack I made to not be distributed outside of the curseforge ecosystem. I have had a few questions related to this, so I just changed the license so you may see it on aternos now.
As for your second question, did you download version H9 of optifine? And optifine is in the modpack's mod folder?

I love Tissou's zombie pack, 'cuz is more variated and is more interesting, besides there's female zombies

Yes, I believe multiplayer will work as long as everyone playing has the modpack installed.
As for the resource packs, check to make sure you have them selected in the Resource packs tab in settings for Minecraft.

I didn't include a map with the modpack. All the structures shown in the video are auto generated in any world you create. Just make sure to enable city generation for the lost cities mod; its a button in the top right when you are creating a world.

A mod where zombies can hear and smell u.
A mod with infected hostile animals.
And a mod where creatures can climb each other.
The first one might be zombie awareness, but Im not sure about the others.
infected hostile mobs might be from the Parasites Scape N Run mod, if they looked really gory.

there are lots of crafting recipes that conflict in the modpack, might be something you could fix in a newer version with crafttweaker?

@@OnModultimate car mod and mine traps. You can’t craft iron sticks as the recipe is the same for nails. Also can’t craft propellers, as it makes obstacles instead. Sleeping bags can’t be crafted either, it makes cables instead. That’s all the ones I’ve so far, if I see any more I’ll comment them.

Except for the fact that the animations resource pack for the zombies doesn't work... They just walk around like normal Minecraft zombies. Can someone help me please?
Try rearranging the positions of the resource packs.

@@caolanochearnaigh9804 Sometimes the order the resource packs and mods are set into the computer changed the priority of the actions they can do. If a certain mod takes priority over another, it might block some of the features

If you're curious, the order of the packs is the Animation, then Tissou's zombie overhaul, then the default Minecraft pack at the bottom... BUT IT STILL ISN'T WORKING FOR SOME GODFORSAKEN REASON!!!!

If all the mobs are zombies, how do you get gunpowder for ammo?
In the most recent update, I added a mod that adds gunpowder as a drop for the zombies.

How do i use the bad mob thing
If you use the modpack, you don't have to do anything. However, if you are downloading the mod separately you need to go into the mod's config files and disable mob spawning of the mobs you want.

After it is finished downloading, you can then hit the "Play" button and you will be taken to Minecraft.

@@nkyskyy13 Don't worry about it saying it has experimental settings, minecraft always says that when you play with mods. As for the lag, I'm not sure whats going on. I installed the modpack and ran it and didn't run into any issues. When exactly are you getting lag?
