How to Turn Minecraft into a Fallout Game! | Post-Apocalyptic RPG

- This video will showcase some mods and texture packs that can turn Minecraft into a Fallout game! It's not perfect, but it really does have the feeling of a Fallout game, or just a post-apocalyptic game in general. This video is based around Forge 1.16.5, as it had most of the core mods we needed. You can download it as a combined pack below, or download mods individually to create your own version.

@@nighteye4042 There's a sister mod to Foods Of The Mojave, called The Nuka-Cola Mod. Kaiser Wilhelm II helped me with some textures. Hope that helps

Hello there ! I'm the lead creator of fallout : wastelands mod , thanks for having it included in this list ! Future version will contain vanilla world mod biomes generation !
you could perhaps remove the whole dimension part entirly (or make it optional I suppose) so that other mods that add biomes can be used as well in the vanilla world, I really love the mobs and buildings just feel like it "removes" too much from other mobs entirly to use
@@anonymousobserver6508 Yes I admit it was not a good decision to make it dimension only . The dimension will now serve for those wanting a full world of wasteland and to play the quest ( which will take a long time to get done ) . I'm actually working on a very small release focused on that issue and on some bugfixes . Thanks for the feedback .
and also the mod should include creatures from fallout and the cryotubes.
@@nickymejias5763 It actually add Fallout creatures like : - super mutant , bloatflies, ghouls, raiders , robobrains , mirelurks but yes there still is a lot to add

Definitely run Sildur’s Shaders with high fog, lower minimal light, and Volumetric lighting for a really good Fallout 4 experience

next: No Man's Skies (or any alien space exploration game) in Minecraft, I mean 1.16.5 is the perfect version for that, with better end and better nether, draconic evolution, futuristique tech mods, many end features mods etc... I'm surprised there isn't yet a serious modpack where you start and live in the end and cannot go to the overworld (or at least it's the end goal).
the levitated modpack for 1.12.2 comes to mind

I would also recommend The Champions mod as it allows certain mobs to have a certain type of Legendary effect

I know its just minecraft, but if there was some way to create like a mad max esc mod pack that'd be hella cool. Like not directly mad max, but like crazy vehicles, some weird mutants, new biomes and stuff. Could be cool having a vehicular aspect to the traditional minecraft apocalypse mod stuff.
You can use lore-friendly mod with weapons and it's called hbm's nuclear tech mod
Only problem is it in 1.12 or 1.17, no 1.16

I believe Alex's mobs are a good add, besides the fantasy creatures which I believe can be removed There is one mob in particular that resembles a Cazador from Fallout New Vegas so the real aspect is worth the add imo.
The tarantula hawk is the cazador, even being poked at with an advancement "Rigged from the start"

When I download it, I would include vics modern weapons with it.
You dont need an invisible item frame pack you can do that in vanila minecraft with nbt tags

I love fallout 4 but I do genuinely believe it is borderline unplayable without like 50 mods.
i played it vanilla for a long time and after i discovered mods for console i put 5 graphics mods and it was awesome
now that i finished the game a few time i have 20 mods

Hey pwrdown! I can’t seem to play/make a Minecraft server with your zombie apocalypse mod because of mulismatched mod files. I think it has smth do do with the fact your mod version is 1.0 but needs 1.16.5 forge. This is because when I play on 1.16.5 not forge the mismatched files is not there! Any help I can get!
