Yes your right. I have Carlisle as my first PDM and it has part scents of Layton and Heron. Best of both worlds
Nice overview, Layton excuslif is on my wishlist that stuff is amazing, and powerful. Haven’t tried the other two, I also tried Pegasus but wasn’t blown away tbh. Yeah for £200+ I need to be obsessed with the fragrance lol cos aunty Rona has all our pockets messed up 🙈😩 lastly I googled Aboniki Balm out of interest! 🤣🤣🤣

Fantastic video Mate !! 👌3 Awesome Fragrances and it's so interesting how we all have different opinions cos I'd reverse your list : 1 Layton , 2 Herod , 3 Carlisle !! 🤣 Herod doesn't perform great on my skin either , it's the weakest out of all the PDM I've tried which is quite a few . Keep up the good work mate , I'm really enjoying your Channel !! 👏👍

I want nothing that smells like vapor rub. Y’all can keep Layton. But body chemistry and preference of course play into it. Glad Carlisle is better; but yes the prices are up there.
I currently own Layton but I am currently looking for maybe one or two more fragrances to complete my collection…

Exactly, my order still remains the same. I’ve now got bottles of Carlisle and Layton. I just need to add Herod this winter
I have 5 PDMs , Herod , oajan , Layton , Percival and sedley . Herod is my favourite and I kind of agree with Layton , I have mixed feelings about it . I have had a 5ml sample of Carlisle for a year and still haven’t finished it , shows I could never go through a bottle .

Got my samples today and I was sooo underwhelmed by Layton. Not sure why everybody is loving it so much. I mean it’s nice but that’s it? On the other hand, I was blown away by Carlisle. Such a dark, masculine and sensual scent.
Carlisle is a 10/10 for me!! I will probably make a video about it later on in the year
I grew to really like Layton but wasn’t blown away at first. Alot of frag heads prefer Layton Exclusif over Layton so maybe that would be a better fit for you. I’m yet to try it though but I will do soon hopefully
@@TrustedNose Carlisle is a 10! I’ve had the Layton and Layton exclusif and sold them both. Layton was rather bland and overhyped to my nose. Layton exclusif…absolutely not, I wish I could elaborate but nope nope and nope.
Trust me Layton grows on you massively
same thoughts are just running around in my head, Layton is good, I get a lot of compliments wearing it, but its not that great I prefer Carlisle over Layton, and I feel Layton isn't that versatile as they say... you need to be so clean, fresh and you need to be dressed up elegantly.
Has your opinion changed on Layton at all or are you still indifferent...just wondering as it’s on my list. Cheers!
Thank you for watching 🤝 ...Hmmm Layton is the most crowd pleasing and easiest to wear out the of 3 ... I do like Layton but it didn’t live up to my expectations however it is still a very good fragrance and the more I smell it the more I like it
@@TrustedNose just got Layton and I’m pleasantly surprised! Was worried about the menthol note but it just goes to create an amazing scent..awesome! Also picked up Gucci intense Oud which is another Gem of a fragrance...👍🏻
@@leesavage2960 🤣 Overall solid fragrance and one of PDMs best, I still need to try the exclusif version... Gucci intense Oud got better over time for me. I’m still surprised there isn’t hype around it !!
The opening not the greatest but the dry one is where it shines 🤯

All 3 fragrances have been reformulated & are much weaker. Carlisle old alcohol concentration was 77% new is 81%, Herod old alcohol concentration was 78% new is 81% and Layton old alcohol concentration was 78% new is 82%
Carlisle is the banger 🎉Layton is nothing
Yeah layton sucks If I wanted Apple not I'd just got with Y EDP lol
