This video does such an amazing job of showing the summer magic in the smokies, the mist, the flowers, the sheer amount of greenery its incredible. Visited the park many times in various times of year but to me nothing will beat this look on the smokies.

This is my favorite hike. Planning another accent to Leconte in early September. You made the hike look easy but it’s a hard but richly rewarding hike.

Just hit this one yesterday and slept at the backcountry site, got wrecked by a storm, still a 10/10 time on Leconte every time
