Okay, this might be a best-case scenario. Emmet saw Elesa get pulled into the portal thing, which would almost immediately lead him to the Dimensional Research Lab in Alola, and to the Altar of the Sunne/Moone, as well as the champion who has a Pokemon that can open an Ultra Wormhole. Meanwhile, Ingo and Elesa instantly recognized each other, meaning they could help each other regain lost memories while waiting for Emmet.
You are right on the nose!! He tells Skyla about what happens and they do research into it together! Plus now they have a way better shot at knowing what took Ingo as well, its just a matter of figuring out where they were dropped, and in their pov, figure out if they're near eachother or not!
Don't forget about Elesa's Zebstrika and Ingo's Chandelure! Imagine their Pokemon's happy faces.

Poor Emmet though, not only had he lost Ingo but now Elesa too?! Atleast Elesa getting yoinked infront of Emmet means he knows what happened and is a bit closer to figuring out where they went

Actually, a villain Emmet sounds very interesting. Imagine if Volo understood time travel through ultra wormholes as well as Emmet, so they both traveled throughout time and space, catching legendary pokemon and ultra beast, until they meet. Emmet now seeks vengeance on the one who disrupts the timeline and becomes a space time police guy. Then once he finds Volo, they go on a fight until Volo tells him where is his brother.
Only for Emmet to say, "Oh you're a villain alright, just not a super one!"
Volo says "What's the difference?"
Emmet comes in with a black and white Kyreum, a Landorus, a Mewtwo, and a Shadow Pokemon (just to flex) and says "PRESENTATION!"
Did I really type all that out to make a Megamind reference? Yes.

You read my mind with Villain!Emmet, just one thing missing: Emmet kills Volo right after defeating him.
Just imagine as Emmet says "Oh you're a villain all right!" He appears within Volo's reflection, either semi out of frame or behind his reflection but then as he says "Just not a super one!" He takes up the whole reflective surface, only to then reveal he's earned Giratina's favor, so after Bolo ask what he's missing Emmet and Giratina bust out using Phantom force and that's when Emmet standing on Giratina's head says. "PRESENTATION!!"

Imagine how much time it would have taken for him to get over the loss of his brother.
And now, Elesa? (Who seems like a friend, or possibly a love interest by the way he smiles at her and attempts to protect her?? Maybe the twins both liked her, seeing how Ingo reacts to seeing her?? 👀)
God, I feel so bad for the poor man...
They're just friends! I mostly see them as found family personally! But yeah it's... tough on him. But he still has friends around him and a new found giant clue as to where Elesa and Probably Ingo as well got taken. Pretty easy to tell what an ultra wormhole is and talk to people who know about it!

@@louzo5175 It probably does take a while for it to really... Set in the weight of what they left I think, but group effort along with Lucas can most likely get them some closure! Theres grieving for time lost, but that can be put on hold until they have time to slow down >u<
They absolutely try to find a way back though, even if they don't successfully get it on their end, Emmet, Skyla, and the rest of the people helping the search most likely get to them first!

I love the semi realism of this art! The pikachu and pachirisu looking fluffier, shiny and it's evolutionary line looking fluffier as well as looking slightly more cat-like without being too realistic, I love it! Keep up the great work!

Bruh! This is so good! I can across this cuz I heard the song on Spotify and it reminded me of an idea of what if Ingo was brought back to Unova and it turns out Lady Sneaesler came with. I love this AU
Edit: I got curious about any other possible trios of Pokémon trainer characters and now I’m making headcannons that Grimsley taught Piers how to do eyeliner. And also Morty is there too. I’m still trying to flesh out the friendship dynamic I imagine could be there.

Not quite permanently! It's a bit damaged, so she keeps it closed ;p Nothing graphic though!

I follow the idea that Ingo has been missing for three years when Akari/Rei show up in Hisui and quell the nobles! Elesa, however, falls in after the Time-Space rift had been closed, which heavily confuses most people who know about how she arrived to Hisui. Not a long time after, just most likely a couple weeks. I imagine the animatic to take place over a couple months at least! Healing from a head wound isn't a fast recovery, plus meeting the other wardens.
