She was amazing. I saw her perform live once, in a show called "Happy Birthday Hollywood," and Mickey Rooney and Liza were in it, as well. I think that was in 1987.

Ann Miller was a great friend of my grandmother and one hell of a dancer, of course Fred Astaire did it better with the troop of african american singers & musicians starting it off, but Ms. Miller was a rare talent and one of the few women who could actually keep up with Astaire without looking clumsy. She was still freakin' gorgeous till the day she died...and man oh man just look at them gams !!!
