    The fact that Vito picked up an ORANGE to show how his feelings towards the Tattaglias is amazing, Oranges symbolised death in the movie.

      That was actually a re-enactment of how Vito actually dies in the movie. In the garden, playing with his grandson, he puts an orange peel in his mouth and runs around.

      I dated a girl in the 70s that was a dead ringer for her. It was so weird, even after a couple months I'd look at her and say to myself "Loraine Newmann". Every time we went somewhere people would do double takes, point, or you could see they wanted say something, a few would ask her if she was her of course and there were some autograph requests. She dumped me after a while saying all I wanted was sex. Now that I think back on it, yup, she pretty much hit the nail on the head.

    I actually saw this on TV live back in the 70's when I was a pot smoking, dumb, and clueless teenager, and I somehow knew that I was seeing history in the making. I never forgot the Godfather's girlfriend saying, "Guido, you're covering up." That killed me. RIP, John Belushi. You were the best comic and character actor ever. I loved you, man. Thanks for all the laughs.

      Funny, the girls in the valley still pretty much talk like that. I live in the valley now, and the word “like” is in every other sentence of theirs. Even the Armenian chicks from the valley, talk like that.

    Holy crap Never watched an SNL skit from before the 90s. This was amazing 😍 Just watched a documentary about Belushi and had to search for some of his work. Now onto watch more 70s and 80s SNL

    I miss him so much now. Between SNL and his movies and also his music of The Blues Brothers this man was just awesome. Animal House is pretty much one of my favorite movies of all time with his role as Bluto I have never laughed my ass any harder since then. When he died a part of me died that day. RIP dude
