What is COZUMEL LIKE NOW??? First Cruise from USA + Playa Mia Beach Club (Celebrity Edge Cruise)

- Oh how we have missed Cozumel!! This is the port we have visited the most during all of our cruises... and it is been too long since we have been here! But it is so different! The port is near empty even with two cruise ships in port... When will this normally busy port look normal again??
We spent the day at Playa Mia Beach Club on an excursion booked through Celebrity... why? Because we had to book through the cruise line in order to get off the ship. This is one difference that can vary by cruise line as the Royal Caribbean ship in port with us did not have this requirement. But, we had a great time and really did enjoy Playa Mia! The beach and pool were both great, the food was good and the staff was very friendly. We would definitely go back!

The night you guys left Cozumel the wife and I were sitting outside eating dinner at a resort in Cancun and got to see both ships sail by….to know sailing was back and we probably wouldn’t have even been in Cancun we would have typically been on a ship.. was amazing

We spent the week in Cozumel the week yall came in. Took a sub tour and went right by yalls ship on our way to meet up with the sub. Avid cruiser and it was awesome to see ships again. Got a good video of passing my both ships.

Hey Alisa; I'm with you, before my hair turned totally grey, my hair was almost black and I have blue eyes - I try to avoid direct sunlight as much as possible i.e. I burn fairly easy.
You guys look like you make your own fun wherever you go! This excursion looks boring for me, but I live in Florida. So going to the beach and a pool isn't my thing on a cruise. But thank you for the tour, I'm trying to decide which excursions to go on as were sailing on the Edge in a few weeks.
Meanwhile, I'm sailing with extended family in August. Thinking about making a quiz/scavenger hunt for everyone (all adults btw). What questions, quests, items to look for, etc would you suggest including on this?

What is Captain Kate's pet? It's name?
(Hairless cat named Bug Naked)
Maybe they have to go find a specific piece of art or other things special about the ship. Something to make all of us explore a bit or talk to staff, etc. If be happy to share my quiz for future cruisers.

We usually go to Mr. Sanchos beach, but we did go here 1 time with my nieces and nephews and it is great for younger kids who don't want going in the ocean beautiful splash pad, kids pool and walkways.

Our trip to Cozumel got cancelled by Carnival and we were so bummed :( but we had an amazing time on the Horizon and will definitely be booking again so we can go to Cozumel finally. Glad ya'll enjoyed! It looks beautiful :)

Carnival cruise lines allow guests off the ship in Cozumel ( been watching cruise CZcamsrs were onboard Carnival Vista - Life with Favor & Sharon at sea)

We were on AOS in Cozumel same day. We saw you recording but went on a Chocolate and Tequila tour on the left side of the entrance.

We used to go to Pancho backyard to eat! Yum
She said it included transportation and it's all inclusive so as much to eat and drink you want.
Completely all inclusive so as much as you want.
Do you have to pay extra for that big water bicycle? How long was the bus ride from the port? we are going on NCL at Christmas and taking the trolley city tour. 160 days away and all the good excursions are already taken.

hey cool, I was at that beach club on my last cruise 2019 before Covid shut down, when we were there it was so windy you could barely get in the ocean. can't wait to come back but our borders aren't open yet. thanks for sharing!

How amazing. Great places to go. What a Ham Jason is. Ha! Ha! / Cold Butt Alisa. I also have to wear 100 sun. When my mom was alive she would get so dark. She was touched with the brush. Ha! Ha! Sure miss the ocean. Like fish out of water. still recovering.. Can't stand it will take over 2-3 months to recover and the sad thing is the guy next door still won't say sorry to me for the injuries to my shoulder, Nerve damage or bruised Ribs. Your issue with the sun is much like me. I go from white to red skin and have been severely skin burnt on a cruise. Never again. I look weird because I wear bathers with long active wear pants and a t-shirt in the pool. It's the same material as bathers R made of so why not? No more burns.
