- An Emotional Visit to My Village In Ghana ( West Africa ) | Village Life in Eastern Region , Ghana
In this video, I take you on a journey to my village in Eastern Region, Ghana called Apampetia. We experience real village life. We see cocoa trees and learn about the process of making cocoa, we see a village market, village farm, a village kitchen etc. The best part is that we get to interact with the village people. This is all part of my experience and journey back to my roots in Ghana , West Africa. We end this journey with some delicious , traditional Ghanaian food - fufu and light soup and rice and stew.
This video will particularly help africans in the diaspora and African Americans who want to experience life in Ghana, Ghana living and move to Ghana ( Africa ) .

Oh woww!! I’m happy I’ve been able to show you your hometown. The woman is my grandma’s cousin which means your father is also my grandma’s cousin. Such a small world.
Thank you for sharing I learned something from this video I have never seen a coco tree or real coco this way, thank you for the lesson 😊
Kofi is a good husband , he has been very supportive of you in all this CZcams journey. I have never been married and I don't know what it takes to be a good husband but I have learned a bit of what it takes to be an endearing husband in this marriage of yours .
Awww how nice of you. He’s honestly a great husband. Very patient and supportive ❤️

Where sold the idea that Africa is poor. But here in America we live hand-to-mouth slaving at jobs. Most of us here can never afford to have land and animals. Beautiful country.
Well said. Thank you 🙏🏾
The children are so adorable! Learning so young to help out.🥰🥰🥰🥰
This was so beautiful to watch! I visited Accra, Kumasi and a village called Ntukum when I was there. I really wish I could reconnect with the girls I met there. I hope to one day return to Ghana!

My 1st time to comment on ur video because this video is uniquely amazing and I love villages and the people are so humble, content and got each other. I was actually drinking hot chocolate somewhere in United states and seeing the possibility of the cocoa use to make chocolate may come from these hardworking Ghanaians🇬🇭 makes me proud and honored to be black ✌
Thank you very much bro. Villages are indeed very humbling. The way they’re able to provide everything they need without any imports is just amazing

Hi Akua, I grew up in Ghana in Kumasi, Koforidua and Sunyani. I attended Opokuware Secondary School. I Stole palm wine, drank akpeteshi, visited all the chop bars, and did all what young Ghanaian boys do. My Ashanti name is Kofi Mensa (since I am the 3rd child). I have been to Apampatia with a school friend from Koforidua. Your vide made me so nostalgic.
Thank you Sis
For bringing us a beautiful video. Its so good to see in these days many young ones like yourself still respect the tradition and respect the Elders. You look Beautiful. Love the children💞

Hey, a very excellent and informative video. Indeed, one of your best. I appreciated how the visit to your grandmother's burial plot was so emotional for you.
