For my job, I often get sent into the rocky mountains. I wind up renting cars a lot rather than try to depend on local transit or taxis. Unfortunately due to a lung injury (I work in mineral extraction), I need certain filters in the air circulation. Luckily my company covers the cost, but they have a limited number of places they can get a corporate discount at. It’s ocassionally difficult to get the type to get my needs met from the rando at the desk, so I typically just go to one franchise where I can get the discount AND this one dude named Brenton to help me out. He’s young but he wants to be a mechanic after he finishes school, so he always knows what filter I’m talking about and installs it for me in the rental. Anyway, due to the economic downturn, he asked me if my company was hiring at all. So I said, if he didn’t mind working with his hands, we could use him down in a potash extraction site. He was really happy and asked if he would be working a desk or working within the site itself. I said, the mine, Hertz Brent.

Ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen, ich finde es wirklich schön hier in den Kommentaren zu lesen, wieviele Menschen, deren Muttersprache nicht Deutsch ist, die vermutlich größtenteils sogar überhaupt kein Deutsch verstehen, trotzdem gern moderne deutschsprachige Musik hören. Und ich fand eigentlich immer, dass Deutsch eine relativ hässliche Sprache ist 😅 zumindest im Vergleich zu solch wunderschönen Sprachen wie Italienisch, Spanisch, Portugiesisch und was dem sonst noch alles unverwandt ist.
