*No air combo like what Wolverine did (you can't even jump)
*Gamora's sword is not part of her regular playstyle (just a special move)
*All characters share almost all the basic movesets, they only differ because of 1 or 2 special moves (seems like they have one base model)
Call me crybaby, but I've waited for a Marvel fighting game since Marvel Superheroes.
If what you're talking about is a demo, it's probably not a finished version, considering it will be released in December.

MachPunchXXIV I concur, I've been waiting for a new marvel fighting game . I've played Street fighter vs x-men, Marvel vs Capcom 1-3. I can't get enough of marvel, but I stayed away from the train wreck that is Marvel Avengers Battle for the earth. I tried the avengers app for facebook and then that one card game app.
All the time and money Marvel has spent on mobile games and facebook games could be spent on Ultimate Alliance 3
Unfortunately, all the effort they are putting into their movies means that they have to cut corners somewhere. And that somewhere just so happens to be video games.
Never thought I'd see the day when people were willing to give Activision their hard earned money after bitching about them for so long.

michael bosket Thats one thing I cant see happening. I think one of the main things people would want in a mortal kombat game is to see the fatalities done on the visitors and that would be a problem. Mk vs DC is a clear example

Awesome game I enjoy leveling my characters up by playing Quest Mode. For a free game its really addictive.
Beware, the game is being managed by kabam. They only exist to extract as much money from you as possible and give you very little in return for it. if you ever consider spending money on it think twice then spend it on something more substantial..... like a real game that will cost much less and will give you so much more.
sharkytool Kabam make really good and fun games. I've been a fan of theirs for years. And you know what, thee games are free. It's only micro transactions. If you enjoy a game you should support it, so that the companies stay alive and keep making new and better games. Making sure it's not pay to win is a good thing that we all want in the gaming community. I really don't get where you're coming from, because they've done everything right. Marvel wouldn't team up with them if they didn't understand this. I recommend you watch some behind the scenes videos of gaming companies and then you may start to appreciate the things that are given to you. For a game development company to even stay afloat is a success in itself.
I would consider myself pretty good at the game and I havent spent a single dime. I just play when I want and get what I can. I only grind the game when there's an arena.
There's 3 types of players: Casual players (who just play for fun), Grinders (who play to win), and Wallet Warriors (who spend money to take shortcuts)

My theory: This entire storyline is placed in an alternate universe where all the heroes have been defeated and the Collector has them locked up. The villains have been using them for their own entertainment and have been making them fight each other. The villains that lose are also used. BOOM! You'll never play this game the same again. >:)
