Thx for the upgrade advise. I'm pretty new to the TCG and the only deck i've been playing is Miraidon EX up until now but i want to experiment a little and this video was exactly the advise I needed.

I only have one caveat to your excellent guide. This is not an easy deck to pilot, so new players may struggle with it.
Perhaps you could make a guide about how to best manage your resources in a Lost Zone deck, how to plan out your prize maps, etc.
I know watching you play is also a great option, but having a dedicated guide you can return to might be a big help, too. Just a suggestion I wanted to make. 🙂

Awesome Video! I mainly play the Digimon TCG, but as Flesh and Blood is to expensive as a side game i look more into Pokemon these days. Started with this Deck and your video was exactly what i searched for to go on!

Nice video! I am new to the game and really liked it. Thorton for me is a really good card. I am generally using it to replace a Comfey with a fallen Giratina, it keeps energies attached to it, and we can evolve it direclty to Giratina VStar in the same turn. It's probably more useful for me because I still have only 2 giratina in my deck.
Been having fun with this deck. Please do another video like this, I'm new to the app so I don't have much credits coming in to help me build, so less spending the better.

They're free Stock backgrounds that I found on CZcams. Search around and I'm sure you'll be able to find them :)

just started playing today after a few good months away from pokemon. in all honesty i only just found out the old game was shut down recently so i have started playing Live. I have been enjoying it but finnaly using this upgraded deck i won my first ranked match after thinking for day 1 i woudnt win a ranked game so thanks.

Great video! Sadly i've been coming across gardevoir engine decks all day getting every pokemon one shot before i can set up. :( Mew V decks are nowhere to be seen lol

You absolutely can - Mew VMAX is still one of the best decks in the format!
@@TheSableyes One thing I can't decide on is if Oricorio's worth including. The "reduces damage by 20" version. I pretty much never want it in the active spot, but the passive effect's nice, and the "50 damage to any target" attack might have niche uses for Mew?

Nice. You should do one for the Miraidon Ex starter deck too. The other attackers are pretty lackluster and one would probably want to use 3-4 Electric Generator cards too surely?

THIS IS GREAT! When I first used giratina I was like "how the fuck do I use this deck?" My second test was much better. I really like the combo deck feel of it.
As someone who bought a tonne of Celebrations codes before they were expensive, I’m planning to bling out all my decks. Those gold ‘Tina’s from Crown Zenith are just too good to pass up on. I just wish there was an alt-art of Cramorant looking all innocent, to go with its attack. 😂

Love your video. My question is that this deck sometimes brick because of only 4 Colress and your main support. If you prize 1 or 2 of them the deck on its own with comfey can't keep up with drawl requirement. In my list I cut 1 roxanne for 1 avery and 1 worker plus have snowpoint temple instead of beach court.
Those changes seem fine, but if you prize your consistency cards you’re always going to have a tough time :)
I played against Spidops ex today on the ladder. It was paired with lilligant Vstar and Leafeon Vmax - great idea from my opponent! Leafeon does 300 damage for two energy with 3 spidops in play!
*if the retreat cost is 5… 😅

Base rarity you're probably looking at around $70 to $80 USD if you have absolutely none of the cards to start. The Giratinas will be the most expensive, followed by the sableyes and radiant greninja. Then a surprising amount of $1 cards like the comfey and battle VIP pass add up quickly. Each of the smaller cards that you may already have will help cut down on the costs, and I'd say that if you've been opening packs somewhat regularly or buying things like the mew battle deck you may be able to get the price down reasonably as low as $55 before having to start buying the singles you need. Plenty of people will trade you base rarity cards if you have a local shop though, even give away things that you may need, so go that route if you like to trade. Good luck!

i think its better to change roxane with klara, i find it hard to keep roxane, it always ended in lost zone than hand, or i couldnt play it, id prefer corless or raihan for the late game
Those are perfectly reasonable inclusions :) Feel free to make those changes yourself if you'd like :)
Coming from PTCGO and booting it up for the first time since the old client shut down, I have 2300, need 2825. I think what I'll do for now is forgo Switch Carts in favor of just keeping Switch and Escape Rope at 4 each, that's 400 right there. Drapion seems like a great counter card, but it's pretty expensive and not essential to this deck's needs- so I'll take that out and see what I can use until I have enough credits for it (I'll worry about that before the switch carts).
EDIT: I have a Shadow Rider Calyrex V, so that'll be my stand-in for Drapion V for now. Also, I do have two Switch Carts, so I'll do 3/3 of Switch and Escape Rope.

You can migrate your old ptcgo account to ptcg live by clicking migrate in the options menu. You should be able to craft switch cart if you search for it in the deck creator.

I couldn’t find the drapion :( im assuming it wasn’t a card you start with so I’ll just make-do until I acquire it.
You can search for cards you don’t have by filtering “unowned” cards when building your deck :)

Hi, Im new to the game literally just downloaded it, how can I search on what pack I should open to get the cards? like for example to get other copy of giratina V what packs should I get? Is there a easy way to know that?
I usually use sites like Bulbapedia or Serebii for questions like that. It should be easy enough to find if you type the name of the card into Google. Welcome and good luck!

You need to make sure you filter by unowned, you might not be seeing it because its being filtered away by default

Pro tip: If you havent migrated yet, all cards that aren't the Giratinas are cheaper on PTCGO. Most of it it's bulk where you can trade 1 pack for 100, Radiant Greninja should be half a pack, and Drapion no more than 2. Save your credits!!
Yeah If you haven't made the switch you can pick up those cards that aren't free first :)
Is this deck better then the Arceus and giratina vstar deck?
I don't think so - at the moment Arc Tina is one of the stronger decks in standard!

I think this is a really good place to start if you're getting into the game. It's going to remain a top contender for a long time yet!

I tried to install PTCGL on my window 10 machine. It says "The installation package could not be opened......". Does anyone have the same issue? How can I fix it?

Beach Court only makes it so Basic pokemons retreat for 1 less Energy, it does not give additional retreats
