Absolutely! They are great examples of the “real people” who live in the Midwest. Friendly, modest, unassuming and thoroughly likeable.
Jerry and Linda appeal to many people for many different reasons? They provide useful information about The Villages for those who are living there and for those who are thinking of retiring there? They seem to be the kind of neighbors that many people would like to have? They seem to be like the parents or grandparents that many wish they had? They seem like really nice people who care about others and many of us find them entertaining to watch?
Some people were Grumpy when the were younger, and it continues as they grow older, that being said " love Ya", and of course THE GIZ!
I am agreement people writing ignorant comments are just rude. I guess some have not learned that if "you can't say anything nice don't say it at all"! 😃

Living on the East Coast of Florida I completely understand both y’all’s hesitation of moving to the coastal area of Florida with the risk of Hurricanes.

Great interview Ruth Dyer did a great job! Hearing you discuss your old home of 33 years such as old family memories, how much you accumulated, going up/down stairs and the house maintenance as you get older. Makes me realize just how much after 50 years we have accumulated in our current home which we also built and what we will have to do if we also move to a smaller home. Sadly, living in Canada the way the housing market is; even if we sold everything (vacant lot and our home) we would not get a home as nice as yours in The Villages.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE living in The Villages - Fenney. And I am really happy there isn’t tons of storage. I LOVE having less stuff, having less to maintain, clean, organize, repair, insure, feel guilty about not using- the more FREEDOM!!! Don’t store stuff when you move here- get rid of anything you don’t use every day and experience freedom!!
Teachers teaching folks about the villages is very helpful and useful. I'll see ya when I get there.

I'm in a new home in Citrus Grove and have TONS of storage here (Hammock model). I feel very fortunate. I know a lot of models don't have as much storage.

Take a trip to Silver Glen Springs for a day trip. It is beautiful. Snorkel the springs or rent a canoe/kayak. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy the view.

I’m this political environment it’s a relief to see just a regular couple living in a positive way. We live in South Tampa with two kids and a dog but want to say that I’d love to host you for lunch if you’re ever in the neighborhood.

Honestly, it’s been like this for about 8 years now, ie, snow common in April, into May and last year we had snow in early June one time. Hi Jerry and Linda, I enjoy watching the two of you in your videos. You both seem like a genuinely nice couple and I enjoy hearing about the Villages. Now the funny thing is my husband Rob and I who live in Delaware right now are building a home in Latitude Margaritaville in Daytona Beach. It's fun hearing about your life there. I do agree that why would anyone take the time to be hateful but there are those out there who are not happy unless they are criticizing or mocking others. Ignore them. You guys are great.
