    Beautiful. I’m going to try to make these. Love your tutorials Mr. H. I have horrible anxiety but always find my shoulders and neck start to relax whilst watching your videos. Big thank you from Lancashire England.

    Thank you. I have now made these with a slight twist. I used 9k gold for the balls and copied your technique for sweat soldering appliqué to prevent the 9k solder from staining the silver.
    You teach the techniques so well.

    Thanks, Mr Soham!
    These are gorgeous earrings!
    Do you have some advice for making a similar pair of earrings but with a post. I tried a few months ago to make a similar pair using fine silver and the disk melted before the post could be soldered. I feel it would be better to use fine silver if you want to use ear wires, and if I wanted to make it with a post I should use sterling disks ?

      use easy solder for the post

    Thank you so much for your helpful videos! I know you say you use a "jeweller's hammer" to texture, but it doesn't look like the jeweller's hammers I can find for sale here. Would you be so kind as to tell me the make/model?
    Thanks :-)

    Hi from Tassie, not related to this project, but can you tell me the best way to put a hole for chain/bail in 3 mm sq wire which has a pearl on the end.
    Also did you get hole punch from Rio. Thank you Liz

    I bought some silicon carbide discs from Rio but they are very brittle. I broke two just getting them onto the mandrel. Are they always so brittle?

    • @1soham1
      @1soham1  Před 5 lety +1

      yes they are, sometimes i double up with them, and ALWAYS use safety glasses.

  • @ingridsaab5413

    For the 3 little balls did you use fine silver or sterling?

    • @1soham1
      @1soham1  Před 5 lety +4

      i used sterling because when it tarnishes it will look even better

      Could I see your solder cutters, as I'm rubbish at cutting pillians free hand.
