I’m a student at Institute of Foreign Languages in Cambodia, Here at the Department of International Studies when I reach Year 3 they will ask us to choose whether between IR or IE(International Economic). And I’m more Likely into IR Rather than IE and I do really like all the subjects in each Semester ❤️. Last but not least as what they’ve said in the Video this major is very Interested because u will get to know more and more about the International Issue that happens around the world and so on so far u will get to know more about something that really important for u to know as a Citizen. I’m kinda wanted to say that it’s a privilege for me to be an IR student because this major is not about how to Draw or how to Build, But it’s about the World that we live in. Last week I got an entrancing name to study this subject at my country's university, but because of money problems, I could not study. I could not pay for my admission and 1 year of college fee at once 😖😖😖
You could work at embassies, work for the government, if you know more than one language and are fluent in languages like Russian, Chinese, Urdu, Spanish, Korean, Arabic, Farsi, Punjabi etc than you can try and work for the FBI or CIA as a language analyst who interprets and translates.
@@chadcj2077 Attention: I.R. it is a very interested course to learn, you see the world with other eyes that a economist or engineer don't see. You see the economic side as well the social , innovation, power which few courses has very big approach. However, you really need to invest more in your education, focus on a specialization, doing a master degree more focus in on the thing and you really have to be good at languages, if not forget this course. I don't recommend it if you have abilities to go for Economy, Law, Management,... only few students are getting well because you have to do a lot of effort. Unfortunately, companies don't know if so well , and also some stupid universities focus to much in social part , forgetting other interested areas like marketing, sales,..
