@Kizzy2x00 Weird Al was someone who parodied a lot of popular songs. You must listen to the original first then the parody. Always best to do them both in one reaction. Let me know if you would like me to send you a list.
Still remember (almost to the second) my 1st listen. Sunday, Jan 5, 1992, Casey Kasem top 40 pulling into work. Almost late because I had to listen till the end. Harvest Foods, Ford Rd. and Telegraph if anyone was there back then.
This is Grunge Rock. They called it grunge because of the how the bands dressed, jeans, t-shirts, flannel shirts and a beanie. Every dressed up and dressed colorful in the 80's and every one dressed down in the 90's, hence the "grungy" look. The 90's was full of grunge rock while heavy metal and heavy metal bands decreased during the 90's. 90's Grunge Bands: Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Jane's Addiction, Bush. There's a lot more but those are the ones I remember.
@Kizzy2x00 I will give you a list one song from each of those bands to get you started. Not right now though because I am currently working on my Ancestry. I just took a break because I get stiff sitting at a computer.
Hi Kizzy, Fun fact: The drummer of Nirvana is Dave Grohl. A few years after the singer Kurt Cobain committed suicide in 1994, Dave started a new band Foo Fighters. Dave is the lead singer and guitarist of the Foo Fighters. As for Kurt Cobain, he is sadly part of the "27 Club" which is a list of musicians who died at the age of 27. Below is a list of those people. Jimi Hendrix Janis Joplin Kurt Cobain Amy Winehouse Mia Zapata Jim Morrison of The Doors Brian Jones of The Rollings Stones Ron McKernan of The Grateful Dead
Bro I like watching, nirvana is great!!! Do 94 pulse comfortably numb it the greatest guitar solo of all time bro you will really enjoy it . And don't forget whole lotta Rosie live at river Platte acdc both those performances are epic
Happy heavenly birthday Kurt Cobain 😢 I knew two things the first time I saw this video in the 90s. Number one. You know you're a kick-ass drummer when all you can see is sticks and hair. He is now the lead singer of the Foo fighters two. I knew the first time I looked at that boy, he wasn't going to be here long.
I'm going to be that guy and say that now that you have seen this you should check out Weird Al's parody of this "Smells like Nirvana".
Oh my gosh yes! Weird Al's parodies are so funny.
I will check it out ! Thanks for the support

You should do it man - buy a cheap Fender and start practicing and banging out some chords!
Appreciate that !!
*NOT AN ENDORSEMENT*
I'm sure drugs and alcohol do enough to numb any pain.
That's been my experience. 😆
Check out Powerman 5000, "Worlds Collide"!! Only the best Metal for you bro!
How low
Do you know what Metallica did that Kurt Cobain couldn't? "RELOAD"!!
