@@biluroy9366F35 nhi le skte, there are multiple problems like high maintanence cost, lack of infrastructure for sustaining it, lack of pilot who can handle gen 5+ jets, high cost for repairing it's stealth coating, aur USA never allows any country to modify the jet or upgrade the avionics radars or weappns + the country have to take permission from USA to use their jet if it's required to do cross-border bombings. None of our current missile would be compatible with it and vice-versa. We can't trust USA enough when they have already armed our enemies with F-16 and other jets in past.

Bro, france was trying to sell Rafael aircraft at almost double price which is not feasible from any way to purchase those overpriced aircraft no matter how advanced they are . So India is trying to bargain to a much reasonable price for the aircrafts. However you can expect navy to very soon procure 26 Rafael M as the negotiations are going quite well so we expect to get a good deal . IAF is also trying but navy is in more hurry.
Rafael is actually quite good for air dominance and also for air to ground attacks, infact the radar cross-section of Rafael is almost ⅕ that of Su 30mki & Mig 29k and other conventional jets that we currently have making it more stealthier suitable for high penetration missions. And I think we can further upgrade it in our own country unlike the restrictions which US jets have. Yeah it would definitely make sense to buy it or as well have to wait for the launch of Su 75 which might be worth waiting who knows.
