- Time travel is a concept that involves travelling to either the past or the future, it has been made popular by fictional works like H.G. Wells' 1895 novel, "The Time Machine." and the Back to the Future movies.
For years there have been tales of people experiencing timeslips and claims of some individuals having travelled both forward and back in time. Neither of which are currently scientifically possible for more than a few milliseconds. In this video, we will explore some credible incidents of alleged time travel, as well as some of the more crazy and unlikely claims.
So sit back, hit those lights and prepare to fall down the Time Traveller Rabbit Hole.

How exactly would these smart phones work in the past? No towers, no satellites, yet people just expect these things would have service in the 1940s or earlier, it's hilarious.
I’m not vouching for any of these as true, but knowing what we know now, if you had time travel you could easily set up a small local cell network. It wouldn’t have near the range of an actual cell tower but it could easily cover a medium size city. We had all the materials back then, just didn’t have the know how. And nothing about your cell phone connects to any satellites, bud. 😂
@@jimmynovak7913 And nobody notices these towers for your hypothetical mobile network because...reasons? And there is such a thing as satellite phones, bud.
Maybe in the future they didn't need towers or satellites. Things could be built in the phone. I bet if you told people in the 80s that calculators, cameras and video recording devices would all be built into our phones they wouldn't be able to comprehend it. Could be the same concept. Maybe they just brought their phones along to take video of the past 🤷🏻♂️
@@Wren1 Time traveler technology. Why do you think it has to be as clunky as our technology? You make a lot of assumptions.
If a person can travel through time a signal can.
The mobile phone stories are so silly. We're so addicted to the ritual of staring at our phones that we see this everywhere.
Lots of things look like smart phones. Basically anything held in the hands in that manner; note pads, photos, pray books, postcards. Basically anything flat and tablet shaped.

"The swedish time traveller" was a commercial for a retirement company.
A future retirement company probably. This isn't the debunk you think it is, pal! A commercial from the future is still time traveling. Probably a time slip of TV time-waves. You dummy.
I thought that I will only watch about 5 minutes or so! I found myself very interested in every story, until the very end of the video. It is beautiful. Well done. Thank you.
Man time travel is probably my most favourite sci fi subject. There’s so much I could do if I could travel back to my past.
lol
but u can teleport goku. next best thing 😎
Wouldn’t we all
me too I want to go back in time but I will only observe my loveones who already died from the distance because when I prevent their death the whole timeline of them and the person who knows them will change and I don't know what will happen if I go back to the future or the present day. It will trigger a butterfly effect
It would just turn into you trolling ppl back then. Lol
The case of the man from Taured was an urban legend. A guy named John Zegrus was arrested by Japanese officials in 1960 for identity fraud and using a counterfeit passport. An article in "The Province" reported on this but got some things mixed up. Among them was the claim that John's passport was "issued at Tamanrasset, the capital of Taured south of the Sahara". Wikipedia notes that "Taured" was probably a misspelling of "Tuareg" (an ethnic group native to the Sahara). The idea that Taured was the actual name of the (fictional) country the guy was from seemed to have been written by Jacques Bergier (not sure where in) and from there, it snowballed into the urban legend as we usually hear it thanks to Japanese urban legend groups online.
It is a really interesting story and I can definitely see why it keeps up as an urban legend.
But why would he point at Andorra for where Taured was supposed to be rather than the Sahara? Also how did he disappear from a locked room?
If I had a Time Machine I would go back to the 1980’s.
Same
The best time ever!
Absolutely... I would however stop by and visit the Summer of Love and Woodstock
1980s or 1970s, for me!!! Hope Time Travel to the Past or Future is somehow possible in our lifetime! 🤔😊✌️😎🚀
I'd go back to the 20's or 30's.
These MF‘s came back without the lotterynumbers
Cuz it's bullshit
maybe the real time travellers are the actual lottery winners in our present time
Time traveling to the 'past' to win the lottery numbers is practically impossible. When they time travel they're going to different timelines, their overwriting themselves' practically creating new branching worlds with different possibilities in the universe; hence you get the term butterfly effect. Different timeline, different possibility. The lotto numbers are random.
27:52 That’s from a tv commercial that was spread around the internet as proof of time travel. It was for a Swedish insurance company if I remember correctly.

I used to be open-minded about John Titor until I read all about him and in his posts, he kept referring to "Marshall Law" and not "Martial Law". If he were a soldier, you'd think he'd know the difference.
Thats because the titor one was completely fabricated by a writer.
Maybe he was talking about his favourite rapper called Marshall Mathers.
Or his favourite Tekken fighter?

We are all time travelers! We move to the future every second.
Technically we never get there since it becomes the present. The future is unobtainable
We're all heading towards the grave.

The problem with all of these stories is that when you look into them, there's never any evidence they actually happened, even the ones like the Man from Taured which should have records. The smaller stories by individual people, like the one about Marie Antoinette, are more compelling because you can't disprove them. (Also, they tend to be brief time slips, which seem more plausible than time machines mounted in your car.)
Re: the Chaplin footage with the woman holding something up to her ear - that reminds me of a gizmo that I found in an old church I was working at many years ago that was a "hearing aid" device. There was a little box that could be plugged into a jack in certain pews, and it came with a little black cup type of thing on a cord that you held up to your ear, volume controls on the little box. The cord was the kind of phone chord from the 50s and 60s onward that rolled up on itself, but phone/audio chords from before then were just straight, so I could seem something similar sitting in that woman's hand without looking too obvious
Great episode, lads!
I love your channel and your voice is the most calming and most pleasant voice ever. My favorite time travel story is the Man from Torrid. It's the most believable one to me.

Time travel :::sigh:::
Where travel into the past is concerned, I subscribe to the Dean Koontz [By the Light of the Moon] theory that, while travel to the past might be possible, it would be in the capacity of observer only, with no power to interact with anything. Even if you were there then, you're not really 'there' now, you're an observer. As for travel into the future, never say never; be aware, however, that traveling back to you 'present' might not be possible.
Whatever your smoking or meds you took, I want some
What you are describing is the belief that some scientists have theorized that some of our dreams may be glimpses into parallel realities.
I live how several people who were involved with the actual case and did the investigation firsthand can state their conclusions about something and a lot of people agree with them. Then one day, one person comes along, who never talks to the avtual people involved, nor actually touch the "evidence" firsthand comes along and says it was all fake because they "investigated" it and found no evidence proving anything, and everyone says the case has been debunked.
I call BS! Just because one person comes along years after the fact and says they found nothing, proves absolutely nothing. It sure as hell doesn’t automatically debunk the story.
Did i travel to the future and got back? I swear i watched this video like two weeks ago or more
Excellent channel! 🤗🫶
VERY GOOD VIDEO!! and a few stories I never came across before too...and AS ALWAYS the story telling aspect was perfect!!! Your voice, cadence, and soothing tone could make the cat in the hat sound like a spooky twisted story that would make people lose sleep even time they heard the phrase 'Sam I Am' lol
I would have to say that there are 2 stories that are my favorites, but each with for different reasons.... the man from Taured is my favorite time travelling story because it sounds so plausible and I think that7 the police would react exactly the way they did: lock him down!!!!! lol BUT I personally don't consider it time travels... its more of a interdimensional story
- BUT the other favorite is one that I think I WOULD DO if I had access to a time machine... I would PLAY THE STOCK MARKET!!!! (but I would also win the lottery too LOL) I love the story because I would love to do that.. I mean who wouldn't, right? BUT I find it implausible that $50 went to $350 MILLION in 30 days.... it's possible but you would have to travel to a very specific date where a bunch of different stocks suddenly sky-rocketed... which doesn't happen very often.... BUT the part that makes me think it's not real is that gaining that much money would changing the future.... and you wouldn't know what would change unless you went back to your time machine and checked
LOTS OF FUN to think about this stuff!! :D
Good point about potentially changing the future.
Thank you so much for sharing, I found it to be rather interesting and I enjoyed it a lot..😊🥰🕊💐🌹
Think we are all still waiting on an explanation on what happened to Destination Declassified
They announced a few months back that they are moving some content to a subcription service.
Fascinated by time travel and time slips
These are not convincing at all.
Some of these could be explored deeper. For example, why didn't the owner show people the hole under the sink?
21:20 you can even see the prayer beads with the cross, though she looks like one of the typical smartphone zombies you'll see walking around in current times on 1st glance xD
When is Top5 gonna do a couple hour long video of crime stories and mysterious events again, I really enjoyed them. It helped me get through my medication withdrawals one late night by taking my mind off the torment, upload one soon.
Really interesting stuff.
My question is ...if you are Time Traveling will you still be yapping on the phone,
"Yeah, I don't know. Nothing. Sidewalk is all crowded with these dead people, what are you doing?"
Amazing thank u
"The next painting up for auction is entitled.."Call Waiting"..
I definitely like the idea of time travel, just because we can't comprehend it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I liked the stories, as I saw in the comments I don't see how anything with satilittes or towers would work.
Definitely intriguing, and fun to think about
That Joe Scott guy is the internet's version of Columbo, very interesting.
22:04 Just because he’s looking downward at something he’s holding doesn’t automatically mean he’s holding an iPhone! Hell, he could be looking at a seashell for all we know! Or reading a book! Seriously! Are people today really THIS STUPID??!!
I see that, again, a lot of possible theories involve the use of mobile phones. There's one major problem with that idea though, one that frankly debunks the lot of them. Cellular technology NEEDS cell towers in order to work. No matter how sophisticated they get, they'll need the towers in order to do all that they do. Therefore, the lot of the alleged time travelers using iPhones and other devices cannot happen in the past before these things are available.
Still, I do have to wonder about, maybe, two of the stories. I can debunk Musk being a time traveller right away because, let's face it, the Teslas are not exactly as efficient as they're made out to be. There are numerous problems with them, which, if he was a time travller, he'd be able to know how to correct immediately.
In the 80’s if you told someone that cameras, calculators, internet and cellphones would all fit in our pockets you would be called crazy. Wouldn’t you think that if they can time travel, that maybe the cellphone technology is also much more advanced? Lol
@@Bostongreenm3. obviously you didn't live in the 80s. It was a time of technological achievement we only progressed to today. That's when cell phones first came out and the idea of smaller and more powerful computers started making waves. It was also the birth of AOL and the internet.
In other words, you wouldn't be burned at the stake for suggesting what you assume.
But let's take it a step further. Check out the reactions of the people around these supposed time travelers with their "cellular tech." Truth is that, before the 70s and 80s, having someone seemingly talking to a wallet-sized device in their hand would create an anachronism. They would be viewed as crazy, like you assumed. You see, time travel is a messy business. But it's fun to speculate about.
@@Bostongreenm3. If you have the technology to travel in time, wouldn't you have something better to communicate with than an iPhone? Maybe electronics embedded in the brain? Telepathy?
@@Ben9263Thurberthis is a fun topic and I like to engage with others about this. I try to be open minded about what other possibilities there are that I didn’t know myself. Good stuff

My fav time travel story is that humans from the future time traveled to the Mesopotamia era and taught all those ppl how to build a civilization
I use to be really big on this channel. Because back in the day they would use more actual footage rather than pictures you can just add easily into your video. Your telling a great story and are so hooked you really believe it. And then all of a sudden you see a picture of the subject on the screen. And your like WTF 😂😂😂
💯
He turned into Joe Rogan around 2016/17. Thats when he just started making random things up and pounding out these fake stories. Thats when all the ghost stories started, its a sad shame, the older videos are well researched and factual. He seems to be appealing to the masses to get more views. Much of his new subscribers will probably be children, clairvoyants or just stupid.
Time travel stuff always make for interesting stories.
I love to listen to all these stories but time travel is only possible one way, into the future. Travelling into the past is just not possible. It can‘t and will never happen. To travel into the future you just need a certain amount of speed outher space, but to be able to travel into the past, with everything we know about physics you would have to put the whole universe into the state it was at that exact moment you want to travel to. Even if it wasnt always expanding, there is no way we will ever be able to do that
if you guys are familiar with the Joe Scott time travel video, then you would KNOW that the Rudolph Fentz story is fake too..... I'm guessing you will end his story stating as such :)
guess not... well this story came from a book or magazine and isn't real... BUT I LOVE THE STORY!!! :D
In regards to; "why would people think a cell phone would work in the past?" issue, it just seems to be some ingrained part of our human make up.
Im a plumber. I often run in to the following problem.
If a client wishes to add an appliance that needs a drain into the waste system, I need to slope that piping at 2%. Basically 1" of fall for every 4' of length. Thus if the closest existing waste piping is, say,
100' away, not uncommon in a commecial or industrial building, then at the end of my new pipe I will be approx 2' down. This means chipping up concrete, excavating, and possibly removing, a bunch of material etc, etc, etc. When I explain this I am invaribly met with an actual question or the body language of a person looking around the floor for one of the drains that GOD installed all over the planet late on that 6th day of creation. People seem to automatically assume that there must be drains in the floor/ground because......
THERE'S ALWAYS A DRAIN IN THE FLOOR....
The best evidence for the moon landing being fake is about 10 minutes of observing humanity

My motorcycle is capable of time travel. When I ride I get to work at least 12 minutes earlier than if I drove. And when I get there early, I hang back as to not create a time paradox for when the me that is actually going to work shows up.
About the claim and picture of the person on the beach holding a mobile phone, I combed through that picture and each person featured and see nothing so unless you circle ⭕️ the individual there seems to be nothing to be seen. 🙄
Quite a few of these stories seem to be hoaxes or urban legends. Even the most cursory internet search will reveal that.
Would have been good to have zoomed in to the “I phone” people.
The Swedish guy (Håkan Nordqvist) is from an ad campaign for a company called AMF Pension
That first case - I don't think that's time travel as you we know it, it sounds like he was taken away - somewhere potentially light years away. The time taken to return him may have been short for the abductors, , but decades for humanity. Time dilation like that occurs when travelling near black holes or super massive stars / planets.
It is made up.

I like to think that after the people come back from the future to our time that in the future there is someone making a youtube video about how some people in a old car showed up out of no where and then vanished, history basically just repeating itself lol
How can a letter and photo get delivered from the future to the past?

I believe in time travel 👻👽🎃
Love the Versailles story
Imagine the time travel prank potential. The unwarranted déjà vu, dressing up like your ancestor, faking a missing person, sparking a conspiracy theory. It's a timeless gag!
A part of me thinks unorthodox time travel is possible, apart from being able to travel forward through time presently. Einstein's theory of relativity may have something to do with it.
this idea that ghost experiences and poltergeists could be actually the results of two different time periods converging somehow sounds more convincing than souls, hells and an astral world. But...
Even before watching the video, from the time stamps I can tell that at least 2 of the cases have been debunked as pure fiction, so the title is a bit misleading... (I'm referring to the The Sergei Ponomarenko Story and The Taured Man.)
What I would give to go back in time and take advantage of the cheap food and gas prices!
I’m sorry but none of these are convincing Enough to absolutely convince me, BUT IT WAS FUN ❤ Thank you
Love top 5’s
There was a time traveler that was stuck in the 1950s because his time machine broke down. I think it was something to do with the flux capacitor. His name was Calvin Klein. 🤔
I’ll put an end to his debate permanently - NO! No one will be able to travel back in time further back than their own relative present. As humans will likely never truly experience a time of “now” your light-cone is always ticking at a rate we aren’t perceptive of.
As for time-travel into the future - that’s already proven in a certain form. You aren’t traveling to any point of which you can jump back the same amount of time you skipped ahead to. Once you’ve traveled in this way, there is no backtracking. Time dilation is what I’m referring to. With speed and or gravitational influence you are aging normally in your relative situation, but to others, they are aging faster in their relative situation. If you got close enough to an enormous gravitational body, your time would slow down dramatically compared to anyone far enough away.
It would be so fun to time travel
