But the GAA has hit back, claiming TG4 could not afford to bid for the games and that if the GAA was “prepared to give away our rights for free”, then all broadcasters would want them.
It comes as Sky said it would consider buying broadcasting rights for GAA games, if they were to be up for tender again.

This video ignores the fact that RTE have a broad digital presence, including the RTE Player. There is no reason that RTE must use GAA GO and instead could not carry all of the matches on Player or the many other channels that are available to them on Saorview. It’s really really difficult to reconcile the fact that we have to pay a licence fee (on penalty imprisonment) and then pay additional fees to watch these matches. Meanwhile, we’re still reading about money pissed away and flip-flops and free cars for Marty Morrissey.

County teams matches should be shown live on TG4 especially the hurling matches some brilliant hurlingGaa and Rte matches kept away from the older real fans who made the GAA what it is today, true volunteers who kept club's going even putting their hands in their own pockets.Gaa and Rte are all about the big money and don't really care about fans with no laptop's and broadband.
