Obsessive compulsive disorder is real. Most people who have it avoid therapy. I'm a therapist and I don't think people realize this is compulsive behavior that needs professional intervention. I've known many people like this. They'll spend so much time cleaning, organizing and shopping that they don't have time or energy for maintaining healthy relationships. They're often hoarding, which is a type of OCD that's extremely resistant to therapy.
Makes some upset because half of the world is starving and these videos encourage ppl to spend any surplus of money on over pampering instead of helping those in need, which by the way helping others also helps your mental well-being and the world at large. Nevermind encouraging selfishness, these videos encourage hoarding under the guise of organizing and other over consumption, I bet these ppl don't use half of what they buy...also it makes some ppl feel like they need to hustle harder to keep up with Kardashians (just a phrase)and makes others feel poor because they can't afford a corrale of high end lip balm?!
As a 16 yo girl who lives in small flat with hoard parents, im so grateful to you for videos like this. it calms me and reduces my anxiety, and I hope that by starting to live separately, I can create something like ❤
