To be honest, It's not the type of gel pen, highlighter, pencil etc It's YOU. YOU have to focus, and do what makes YOU feel YOU. YOU don't need those aesthetic pens or whatever to have good notes. YOU just have to do what YOU feel happy with. 💕

friendly reminder that your notes dont have to be aesthetic all the time. I know a lot of people feel bad when they think their notes arent "pretty enough" or "aesthetic" but if your going to study for an exam making pretty notes wont help that much, im sure they help some people but you dont need to make it your goal to have pretty notes and in my opinion "messy" notes somehow look more aesthetic than the aesthetic one :D

A lot of people take their aesthetic notes from power points or text books before or after their lectures when they can go as slow as they want or rewrite their notes from lectures aesthetically at home. Also that hand writing takes forever to learn. Remember, this is the internet where everyone pretends to be effortlessly perfect all of the time especially in the study communities on any social media site. They leave out how they had a mental break down while studying, the fact it took hours to make their notes look like that, and the fact its expensive to have all those supplies. Don't feel bad about it or discouraged in trying to do aesthetic stuff. You can have pretty notes that don't look like this, but are still pretty. The internet just made you feel that way honestly.
Well, these are indeed very nice to use while writing notes. But if you don't have it, don't overthink, be happy that you will have more time to write notes instead of decorating so much. Decorating makes study interesting, but be happy with your own supplies too! :) No hate!
