Thank you so very much for this informative and well made video. This will help many people with understanding this condition with their cat. Awesome work!
Such a great video with such important information 👏👏👏
I have a 9 months kitten who was diagnosed with a heart murmur. Can a kitten outgrow this? The kitten was stressed during the examination and was in heat. Could this have contributed to a misdiagnosis of a murmur?
CAT-astrophic!!!!!!! Good one Dr.!!!! 🙀💔
My cats do not smoke, so I think we'll be OK.🚬
What are your thoughts on a sudden murmur (grade 4/6) ? It happened over a few weeks. He suddenly presented weak, 106 fever, platelets 35 (probably what allowed infection). He was on gabapentin for 2-3 weeks which in humans can mess with platelets. I stopped the gab. He’s looking better, slowly, and starting to eat somewhat on his own again.
This is exactly what is going on with my boy, could I ask how yours is doing?
@@jesslyn6813 has your cat gotten better?
@@laibao9322 yes he is much better. The doctor put him on some antibiotics and steroids, which he took really well to. He is back to causing trouble :) thank you for asking
@@jesslyn6813 of course! ☺️ i got told my cat has a grade 5 murmur yesterday, but all will work out and he will live an extremely long life like your cat ❤️ hopefully our cats live to the age of 50! 😄
