- Honda was a true staple for quality motorcycles in the 60s and 70s. This beautiful 1970 Honda CL175 is one of those examples.

My best friend had this bike @ 16. I got to pilot it many times as he was very inexperienced as a rider. It wasn’t exactly a rocket ship but was more than enough to cruise the town, even two up. I always loved the styling.
I bought a new CL175 in June 1968, burnt orange, I wish I still owned it...
Great bikes
that engine is lovely!
These early Honda twins are really under-appreciated. I have a mint little CM250C and it’s surprisingly fun to ride, and the motor sounds way better than a little parallel twin should!
Totally agree 👍
1970 Oregon 2 years shore duty in the Navy. Myself and two others bought cl175's blue and had a ball. Unfortunately, left my bike behind as I rushed home. Looking for this exact match to go up for sale. There is a spot in my living room for it (but I might just ride after polishing). Great bike
Very cool!
I bought a 1971 CL175 orange in color
I got a top speed of 77mph out of it at a flying 1/4 that Burt Monroe also had his velocette and Indian at
The manufacturer claimed 81mph
I piston seized it on a second run , probably wasn’t warm enough!
The rear exhaust guard on your bike looks non standard as they were chrome ( in NZ anyway)
I loved the sound of mine
Nice dude.
Thanks for the visit
I have a 1970 , CL70
Wow that's too cool they made a 70

So that’s where the mud came from🤣
you should see the burnout marks.
@@SirDrifto if you got it to do it burn out, I would love to see it😂
lovely bike but my cd175 is prettier😊👍
but the CD 175 had small wheels, and suspension sucked, as i recall...
