There is a movie from my country called "De grønne slagtere" (The green butchers) Which has the same concept, they sell human meat and people love it. But later when they are close to be caught and find it hard to get any more human bodies to sell, it is revealed that it is not the meat people love, but the marinade they glace it with.

I work in Uganda where there is a tribe of people who do eat human flesh (though the practice is generally dying out) and they DO say that once you eat human flesh you crave to have more of it. 20 something years ago, I knew an Asian drug dealer who told me that the people they knocked off, ended up in Asian butcher shops in springvale (Victoria, Australia) as pet mince. I don't doubt that there are plenty more nefarious things that go on.
A few years ago, I was at a food court at a shopping centre, and bought butter chicken from an Indian place. I was a chef, so I know what every meat type looks like in its raw and cooked state, and this was not fucking chicken. Pretty sure it was cat by the muscle structure and size. Luckily I spat it out and went and confronted the 2 women working. I said "THIS IS NOT FUCKING CHICKEN. " to which they didn't deny, they just casually asked what I thought it was..
