- The iconic line in the Eagles' song "Take It Easy" from their eponymous 1972 debut album continues to bring scores of fans to Winslow, Arizona decades after it was released.

Fun Fact: Glen Frey never stood on a Corner in Winslow,Arizona. However Jackson Brown did and he wrote the song Frey only contributed the verse "Standing on a Corner in Winslow,Arizona" Jackson was lost for words so Frey came up with the Winslow lyrics.

WTF... I was traveling from California to Florida in 1995 and my van broke down in Winslow on and cold early winter morning and no one came out to rescue or even look at my butt, especially no blondes, not even just a female... I had to call AAA out of Flagstaff... LMAO
It's too bad that they have it all wrong. In 1972 a flat bed ford was not a truck , but a muscle car called the ford ranchero which is like an el camino type car. Now the words in the song make sense
