Thanks for this bideo. Does these individual transmitters and receiver have a built in recording? There is no indication screen on receiver, i would love to see that.
Hi, I bought this kit and I also use it as an USB mic on my computer for voiceovers. What I found that as a USB mic the signal level is really low, compared to my other mics. Have you tried it maybe? Or if you could I would appreciate the feedback with your findings. Regards,
Regarding the low signal level you've experienced, compared to your other microphones, we suggest trying the following solutions. Check Settings Use Software Gain Firmware Update Adjust Microphone Position Hope we could help you!
@@insstro6366 I tried on 2 different computers, desktop and laptop, with 2 different operating systems, Windows 10 and 11. Software gain at the maximum, microphone were literally 1-inch away from my mouth. It peaked at 15%. My other USB mics easily reach 100% with normal circumstances. I checked Godox's website there's no firmware available for this product. I have to set +12dB gain in Davinci to get acceptable levels. But this obviously ruins the SNR (signal noise ratio) with adding noise.
Hmmm, that is definitely a problem for that application. I personally use a good Podcasting mic in that application, though, to be fair, I almost always have to boost the signal a lot in post as well. It is my one frustration with the arrangement.
DJI Mic 2 has an adapter for the hot shoe too although it is more expensive. Mic 2 does have 32 bit float. I wonder how the sound quality compares.
I haven't reviewed it yet, so I don't know.

No lav access is unfortunate. Such a basic feature to omit
Agreed.
Godox will take it into consideration for future product improvements.
