Bless whoever at TT gave up their Saturday to implore the Machine Spirit to upload this vid successfully. Not all heroes stand on tactical rocks.
It was a team effort this morningâŠthe omnissiah was displeased! Thanks for sticking with us and hope you enjoy the show!
@@tabletoptactics every time the Flesh Tearers pop up on the channel I give thanks the Great Angel. I enjoy watching them unleash the Fury Within!
I absolutely love when James plays into the new armies. He completely reciprocates the excitement of the new army player and is just such a delight to watch.
Hands down, that Blood flail moment was top tier entertainment
This has been the most fun I ever had watching a Batrep. What a crazy game!
Love watching Beard and Bard games! Absolutely epic when these two play! BIG DOUBLE B GAMES ARE THE BEST!!!!
You would think that an army specifically geared to fight Daemons would win the majority of the time.
I think the heavy metal intro fits PERFECTLY into a match like this; I get DOOM vibes and it's awesome!
Made possible by the new cameras and lenses purchased from our Lodge Campaign! â€ïž
WAAAGH!!! ^_^
@@viewtifuljoe4412 I think you mean⊠BLERGH!! đ€đż
I really dig the way that Beâlakorâs painted.
I'm loving the extra dramatic "DEMON SAVE!" from Beard
More Chaos Deamons more of the time would be greatly appreciated by me. Good work guys đ
That moment the Thrister whipped three terminators to death was glorious. One in a million applicants of the grey knights survive, so I can just imagine three million skulls added to the Throne! bwahahaa
Believe it was only hundreds of thousands applicants and 1,000 made it through. Not quite that big a number lol.
I can hear Lawrence behind the camera itching to get at the helm of the Grey Knights. đ
Context for when the Demonic Tree was slain: "Allen Titchmarsh is an English gardener, broadcaster, TV presenter, poet, and novelist. After working as a professional gardener and a gardening journalist, he established himself as a media personality through appearances on television gardening programmes."
His more recent work brought him to the garden of Nurgle.
Truly God's work - thank you! đ
The existence of "overspill" damage, as in AoS, is quite an interesting development. As is extra-actual-no-really-we-mean-it saves. Will be fun to see how these permeate into other codices eventually. đ€
Just wait until GK gets its new Codex and get their but-these-guys-really-really-REALLY-mean-it-differently that DOES modify the no-you-don't-get-to-modify-it-for-really-reals...
Doesn't get more of a classic match up! INTO THEM BROTHERS!!
Damn. Being irksome, challenging, and contrary in a YT Comments section is just hideous, but, may I respectfully chime in with that the epitome of a classic match-up, for me, is Iron Warriors vs. Imperial Fists? Sorry. Great match-up, though. Loved every minute.
@@datasdukatcoat6429 To be honest, in early editions you'd see dioramas of armies, but not really that many battle dioramas. The main battles I remember seeing on full page pics were Orks vs. Ultramarines and Tyranids vs. IG.
@@datasdukatcoat6429 Crimson Fists vs. Orks is the ultimate classico of 40k. Can't be more classic than the first scenario ever written.
For those who don't know, battle at the farm was the first ever battle mission written for 40k, back in Rogue Trader era. It opposed Orks to Crimson Fists which were the original marines poster boys.
@@datasdukatcoat6429 Who mentioned Iron Warriors? Those spineless curs! Fortifying this comment section For Dorn!
New camera equipment looking awesome, those intro shots were fantastic!
Thank you! All made possible by our Lodge pledges â€ïž
Bard's Turn 2 Psykick phase was so bloody bonkers. How many spells did he manage to pull in that one phase and still manage pull of that off and not do any damage to himself is so insane. The inquisition will be having words with this group for sure.
So here's something that needs an FAQ immediately, if the Grey Knights have a Warlord Trait that RAW and RAI is meant to ignore a Daemons invlun, but Daemons don't have an invuln any more how do those mechanics work? I think at our tables we'll rule it until GW makes a ruling, that for the purposes of those rules that specifically call out ignoring a "Daemons invuln" they still do.
Any rules targeting specific armies are fluff, and that counts double in this silly match up. These kind of hyper skewed fluff rules (rr1s on h and w army wide, lol) shouldn't really exist from a competitive PoV so do what you like. It's not going to come up and if it does... play what gives everyone the most fun.
Do what you like but the one daemons player who shows up is gonna be pissed. Balance > fluff unless it's like crusade or something.
I don'T understand where is the problem. If you can't ignore something that don't exist, it does't matter, no ?
@@Grim67894 A fair point, however in the interim I've already messaged our LGS and the 2 Chaos players both seem to agree atm that the Grey Knights rules should work as intended. So seems fine atm since Daemon Saves would still work against everything else.
@@maximem.ste-marie3578 The issue is that in this niche instance half of an armies special rule doesn't apply anymore and becomes a dead rule. So that's the issue albeit minor, and niche.
Only watched 47 mins of this yet and its one of your most hillarious Battlereps of all Time! :D Like Bard says: its lot of Power in the Room! Much love from good old Germany to you guys
and its going on, Thanks for this!! makes the Doggo bark at me for laughing so loud. Think not even Lawrence had a Psycic-Phase like yours Bard :)
Hilarious game !
âThe trowel of oblivionâ cracked me up đ
âSo somebodyâs gonna explodeâ absolutely fucking sent me. Even replayed it.
love it every time Beard says slopitybile piper lol
The word you're looking for is CONDEMNATION babee! 12:58
That Belakor though đ„đ„ hats off to fletcher
The "DEMON SAVE!!!!" montage is the best thing ever!
I never get tired of hearing âDeAmON SaVE!!!!â
A great Battle Report to kick off Saturday. I appreciate the Elden Ring nod, Beard, thank you for that. Your guy's laughs are so infectious, if you ever need a good laugh, just listen to Bard and Beard chuckle. Thanks again for the great content guys!
My favorite game on your channel so far guys. Such a good atmosphere, such epic situations! Thank you for the good laughs guys đ
The best of this battle is the eye in the middle of the table. Great battle and scenography !! Glory to the Dark Gods, ever!
I have only taken up Warhammer and so glad I found this channel â„
Thanks for stopping by!
Oh my days the out takes, I'm in actual pain with laughing haha bloody Demon Prince Alan Titchmarsh!
This was one of the best bat reps i have seen. The Energy was mad!!!!. Beard i absolutely love your madness keep it up all.
this is a must watch.
I was expecting another somewhat-entertainingly narrated battle to sink my imagination into as I finished up work, and instead I found perhaps one of my favourite bits of batrep Iâve ever listened to.
Incredibly endearing and quite funny narration, a seriously epic warpish board that nails the feeling of a warp vortex or demon planet, and I must say, as an Australian, wonderfully and charmingly British.
Youâre also so darn infectiously happy. Thereâs no being grumpy with the opponent rolling well, or passive-aggressive talking about dice or bad luck that puts a dampener on most other battles I listen to. You both just seem to be enjoying playing with each other, not genuinely against, and laughing at the little stories the game makes up as it goes.
I look forward to working cheerfully through the rest of your catalogue over the next few months, and you both have my sincere appreciation.
(I must remind myself to curse âPantaloonâŠâ at more of my unfortunate surprises in future)
10/10, would listen again, and probably once more for good measure when the mood strikes :)
Cheerio and take care,
An Australian lad
I just got into Warhammer AoS and 40K and I love watching your videos learning about the finer points of the game.
Such a great batrep had me on the edge of my seat with the beasts shots and bellakor combat
My girlfriend looks at me smiling and laughing at these games with great confusion. You guys do a great job and I'm thoroughly entertained every time I tune in.
Also, shout out to Fletcher just absolutely knocking it out of the park on those paint jobs. Very well done.
Those Demon potatoes look like something I'd find in my food bin after a week of hot weather.
This clash was incredibly thematic, gloriously unpredictable, and very funny. Demon Titchmarsh will live long in the annals of TT's finest moments. Superb.
Very excited for this game! Rules as written, doesnât ignoring invulns do nothing against daemons because they have different saves now?
Correct, but it was played this way cos its silly otherwise for Draigo to not ignore their saves given its kinda his schtick
@@thepastrychef8014 I agree 100%. Hopefully fAQed pretty quickly. Thanks to the team for another amazing game!
This Batrep was quite literally otherworldly (you know, warp and stuff) good. Really enjoy Bard&Beard. Keep up the amazing work.
Was not ready for an intro that fucks so hard clicking on a WH40K video, awesome production as always.
This video had me cracking up! Beard and Bard are officially my favorite duo
This was peak entertainment value! Absolutely top shelf viewing here!! MOAR!!!!
Every time I see Bard play Grey Knights, Iâm that much more tempted to start an army.
those armies are incredibly well painted. god damn
Bangin intro! Bellacor is one of the coolest models GW makes! What a biblical battle!
DEMON SAVE!!!! Love your energy, signor Beard!
This batrep was so much fun to watch. I especially loved the montages at the end and watching beard yell out DAEMON SAVE whilst also playing total warhammer 3 with the chaos daemons legendary lord that constantly yells DAEMON PRINCE
These two bring such good energy to batreps and I absolutely love it. More Bard & Beard! This was one of my favorites.
Bard, did you let Spider touch your dice? that psychic phase was something else! great battle-report! love the first prince, hope to see him soon.
1:35:42 it was said 15 wounds and bard only rolled 12 dice?
This is probably one of the highest rolling games Iâve seen from you guys in a while, especially with the amount of 6s Bard is throwing in the psychic phase. An absolute slug fest, borderline crying from laughing so hard, I love it. Cheers guys
ALAN TITCHMARSH! Grandfather Nurgle's chosen son!
Turn 1 drawing bring it down on Belekor is just peak Grey Knight TBH.
This has been one of the most fun battles on the channel. Well played to the both of you.
How does Drago's "ignore invuns vs demons" work now?
They don't have invuns, they have Demon Saves!
Great game - tons of energy from the Beard and the Bard as they were having such a good game! Loved it
this was probably the most fun game iâve seen on this channel. these guys are so good together. love their enthusiasm! ill be finishing my daemons army soon. canât wait to try them out:)
YES! My favorite Chapter of Astartes going to war with their greatest foe. This was a spectacular batrep, dudes! Great as always.
It feels like I just listened to Pinky (from Pinky & The Brain) playing ALSO PINKY in a game of 40k. Excellent.
that table is gorgeous. some hype going on in *that* psychic phase, so much destruction, worthy of a battle between these ancient enemies! 10/10, great fun
Great premiere for Chaos Daemons! Looking forward to monster mash đč. Congratz to Bard on piloting GK to victory! Y'all are BOSSES! đ€đ€
"alright he's actually dead" I couldn't stop laughing
Love the nemesis weapon paint style, might use it for mine
Another great BatRep with some amazing players! You guys pout out so much infectious energy. :) I do hate when one army has buffs specifically against another though.
Honestly watching you guys make batreps really are highlights of the weekend.
Your excitement for the new Codex is as contagious as Nurgles hugs
I swear this game has just the best vibes of almost any match I've ever watched :D LOVE it
Fantastic game guys, I need to have a 40k game this exciting! Maybe I would play more :D
Props to Beard for shouting Daemon save as enthusiastically as he did the whole game :D
now thats how you crack a whip!
Excellent! The scenery is (literally!) out of this world!
Such a cool set up! However, it would be sooo great to get some extended hand cam shots taking in the whole board from different angles every phase so you can get a feel for the whole battle, rather than just to top down shot and the close ups. I keep getting lost on what is where and really feel the epic board and miniatures are not being done justice without the hand-cam shots as they give you the overall perspective you'd get if you were in the room. Either way, what you're doing is epic!
This game was one of the best I've ever watched. GG guys, luv you channel â€ïž
I'm so happy to see Soul Grinders again, especially this Plague HULK. THICC BOI
Itâs time for the chonk!
I might be mistaken but the "daemon save" isn't an "invul save"
One of the best battle reports I've seen in a while! Thanks for focusing on cinematic, entertaining batreps
could we see a "Great Game" batrap e.g 1000-1500pts of each Chaos God faction in a free for all or 2v2
Never thought having been a fan of Ground Force would come in handy while watching Warhammer videos...
Stunning scenery and armies, well done ! Very entertaining boys !
Funniest one you guys have done. Alan Titchmarsh is a secret demon prince for sure.
The super smite at 1:03:00 would still go through. So you missed the d6 damage from the smite :D
Fun batrep, way too many commercial breaks though.
I WAS EXPECTING A HEFTY AMOUNT OF *DEMON SAVES* BATTLECRIES....
AND I AM PLEASED!
Great batrep! Love that 2 opponents can have so much fun in a nutty game.
This was highly entertaining!
I spit out my food when I heard, "Big Baby Bash Time"
This was an absolute hoot to watch! As a Grey Knight player, LOVED the killer psyc phase! And looking forward to more Daemon lists coming out!
What a fantastic game that was!!! It's been keeping me very entertained as I've been painting.
Wow. What a game! What a battle! After all that, I have only one thing to say.
Poor Alan Titchmarsh, he didn't deserve that.
I remember in 8th grey knights had next to no support with fighting the one thing they're supposed to be good at
This is by far the funnest bat rep Iâve seen in a long time. U guys are epic!
Great bat rep chaps. However, I am shocked that you let the opportunity to say that the tree has a 'tree' up invulnerable save slide by.
Brilliant, I laughed so hard, but it was also a game full of surprises. Well done guys, you've got great chemistry.
It should probably make sense for certain specialist weapons like Psycannons to ignore Daemon saves.
One of the most entertaining games in recent memory. Beard and Bard make great battle reports!
It's so cute how posh you guys are! Much love
Absolutely amazing and hilarious show!
Bilepiper!!! Hoping to see the demons pull out a win!
What an amazing battlefield!!! Just started watching this is gonna be my kind of Saturday night đ yep Iâm weird.
lmao the eyes on those beasts of nurgle
One of your all time best reports . So much fun to watch and thematic too
The bloodthirster whip slicing three terminators was great
This was fun as hell to watch! Still need to play my first 40k game and my Grey Knights are almost ready! Any tips for a first time player?
