I often hear stories of Chinese vr and metaverse game related people running away with money. Like arpara. Those crimes will be repeated by certain people. Even in cryptocurrency fraud.
suprised to the top was not in this list. one of my favoritte games :)
A lotta work was put into this. Great vid. The VR community appreciates your efforts 👍
Thank you
Yes very nice video. Just got my first VR and am trying 7daystodie in VR with a mod
Little kidboy you speak for "yourself" not the vr community. Cause "you" don't know the vr community.
Ps: them 2 little 13 year Olds doesn't count as a community 🤡
Some of my favorites not mentioned so far: Eleven Table Tennis, Garden of the Sea, The Invisible Hours, The Last Clockwinder, Moss Book 2, Song In The Smoke, and Townsmen VR
Moss 1 and 2. Very enjoyable vr games.👍👍
I've recently decided to finally upgrade my PC again after eight years so my VR experience is about to become a lot better, and the timing of this video releasing is impeccable. Greatly appreciate all the effort that went into this. Added quite a few games to my wishlist!
Great line-up Matteo and always on point! It must have taken a lot of work, so really appreciated. Thanks for including Yupitergrad on the list, hope you will enjoy Yupitergrad 2: The Lost Station the same or even more once it releases
Hey Matteo! That was an incredibly comprehensive list and a great reference point for anyone looking at where to start when making their next gaming purchase! I was surprised that you didn't mention anything about Star Trek: Bridge Crew, From Other Suns, Chronos, or Wipeout XL. Impossible to cover everything, though!
This is incredibly comprehensive, well done.
My favorite party game has gotta be Thrill of the Fight. For people that haven't played VR and are extremely fit it's a hilarious gag to see them wheezing on the floor 5 minutes later after they've just exhibited their total goob punching skills.
The Outro got me to subscribe that was adorable. Nice video man! Thanks for putting in so much work for this.
This video is a step above everything else. I watched this and put every title I’m interested in on my wishlists in PS, Steam and Quest. Thanks so much!
Wonderful job reviewing and showcasing all of these
you done a great service, kept adding some of the most interesting ones to my wishlist as the video went on
Sadly a few of the interesting ones i wanted to try happend to be quest exclusives...but i still got plenty to keep me busy!
Thank you for doing all this, you've given me loads of insight and added many games to my want list that I wasn't aware of.
Thank you so much for such a selection. Most videos only talk about high-profile games, and you have literally everything in your collection.
Thank you very much!
I personally would have put Walkabout: Minigolf higher in the list--perhaps even at S-Tier if you consider the constant stream of DLC. It is probably my most played multiplayer game at this point. It keeps both veteran players and family members who won't play any another VR coming back to it repeatedly. Admittedly the graphics can't compete with something like Half-Life Alyx, but it is available on multiple platforms and is a must own if you have any kind of VR headset and any friends. As a social game is very hard to beat.
Walkabout is fantastic and is definitely S-tier, but he doesn't seem to like it much. Eleven table tennis is another great game but it didn't even get a mention. Lots of great games didn't get a mention.
This. Like its easily the best VR game. Not one game has the longevity or accessibility anywhere near close.
Yeah that’s nuts hands down top 3 for sure.
He's giving his opinion, not some results of a double blind study evaluating the objective intrinsic value of each game lol
Better than real life mini golf.
Wishlist updated :D Great content, insane amount of work. Thanks!
A lot of effort has been put into this, and I've managed to add few more titles to my wishlist, thanks, and appreciate the effort, mate!
Great list! My steam wish list has about 15 new titles now. As a sim and puzzle guy I need to suggest The Talos Principle, Obduction and The Room VR. Every major flight and driving sim offers a VR mode.
Awesome video Matteo311! Thanks for loads of content. 🙏
Its impressive to see PSVR2 games in Top 10 after 2 months only ! Thats good beginning
Love this list! I'd put Into the Radius pretty high up on my list too
Lost due to editing
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 Tha's a shame. Into the Radius in it's current state is easily one of the top 10 best Vr experiences out there.
Matteo! You are the VR master. Wow! Thank you so much for this list. Super useful and I've wishlisted so many games now.
I just finished it, but Blood and Truth should be in that S Tier section. It's a Sony IP so it stuck on PSVR, but I really wish this game could have been ported to PC. That game is nothing short of incredible. PSVR 2 should have launched with Blood & Truth 2, It doesn't have the broad recognition of Horizon (which isn't even based on Aloy) but what they could have done with that kind of game with all the enhancements PSVR2 brings to the table, it would be a Killer App alongside being able to play Gran Turismo 7.
I still need yo play it
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 Sony needs to give London Studio more work instead of riding off Naughty Dog and Last of us. The Level of quality, realization, interaction, the story, the acting, the sound/music, the graphics, everything in that game is incredible. It feels like you're playing a blockbuster movie like John Wick or something. You should definitely give it a shot.
@@nategreatgames78 yep, Blood and Truth was my favorite... until i play Re8
Good job! I enjoyed watching the whole video. I spent over two years hooked on Population: One but now I am 100% Team Zenith: The Last City!
The best bit about this whole video was the very end.... I really had a chuckle... so sweet!
Wow great list, especially because there are many old gems that no one else mentions as they are always focused on what is new. Subscribed.
At the moment my favorite game is walkabout mini golf. The maps that they've added since release have been amazing and have only gotten cooler as the game ages. Definitely recommend checking it out again.
Love these vids, thanks for all your hard work!
Thankyou for this video, its really helped in terms of what games to buy or not. Hope to see more in the future ❤
Thank You for this Video, i just discoverd so many awsome VR titles. Thank you for putting them into categories aswell.
What a crazy huge and long video! 😂
Did you forget about Bonelab? Also, I was a bit surprised about Moss, I would personally put Moss book 2 higher up than the first game, but if I understand right, you bundled them together as one?
My number 1 vr game of all time is Asgards Wrath! So, very happy to see it where it belongs on the list. I haven't played Vertigo 2 yet though, so really looking forward to that!
Thank you so much for taking the time, Matteo. You taught me about a bunch of interesting games I didn't know existed! 😊
Glad to hear it
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 It's my pleasure!
Awesome list, VR has grown a lot aswell! One game I really am looking forward to is Cradle of Sins, first MOBA VR game ever and graphics look amazing, in the works since 2017. Really check them out, they should launch somewhere around end of may! :)
If you plan to make another video next year, maybe you'd like to try out "Rumble", a competitive PVP earthbending game where you can summon and hurl all kinds of clay structures at your opponent by moving your hands a certain way.
The gameplay is surprisingly deep with the different structures (wall, disk, pillar, cube, and boulder) having different offensive and defensive capabilities (such as stability, range when thrown and knockback) and there being different methods to move these structures into your opponent's face as effectively as possible depending on the circumstance. The learning curve is pretty steep and the skill ceiling high, but it's insanely fun to play once you start getting the hang of it. Just look up any "Rumble Tournament" video on youtube to see what I mean. Top tier gameplay can get pretty insane, but it's a lot less stressful when you first get into it and start learning the game in your first few battles.
Anyway, I hope you have a lovely christmas
its on my list to try, it looks like its getting really good
Great vid, and loved how you called out Jet Island at the end. When you get some time, you can knock out the campaign in a few hours but 100%'ing the game is absolutely worth it (especially with a friend).
Just got the quest 3. Thanks for the list, really well done!
Holy smokes. Thank you for playing literally everything available lol. I cannot wait for the A and S tier because I love vr and need more content.
Great video and your kid at the end just tops it! Super cute! 👏🏼👏🏼
This was incredibly helpful, thank you.
The only thing smoother than a 120Hz refresh rate is your transitions from one game to the next! 👍😂
[edit] I appreciate the huge amount of work you must have put into the video!
And 244 hz refresh rate😊
Oh wow thanks for putting all this together :)
Great job! Very comprehensive, and I concur with your rankings. My personal top three are After the Fall, Half-Life: Alyx, and Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. Also happy to see you included Vertigo 2 near the top, it deserves all the accolades. I'm glad you put the top 3 PSVR2 games up there too. I think the quality of PSVR2 games will result in healthy competition with PCVR developers, which is better for the industry overall. I see a new rivalry between PC and console in the VR space, which is all good. Personally, I think in future most games should have both a flatscreen and VR option, to reach the widest audience.
I needed this to look at some games for myself and both my daughters. Thank you!
It’s a really great list, watch the whole thing beginning to end appreciate your content
Good list! Great job.
I'm hoping for more 3rd person action games.
Moss and 2076 are fun!
No Hotdogs, Horseshoes and Hand-grenades? Probably the best Gun simulator out there... the amount of content / game modes is stunning
i mentioned it, the game just wasn't for me. I couldn't get into it
Can’t imagine how much work this video took, bravo! I just got back into VR after selling my headset a couple years ago and was super bummed to hear about Echo VR. That was by far my favorite free game on the store and I would’ve happily paid money for it.
Always love these videos
This video looks like it took so much effort!! props my guy
Surprised garden of the sea wasnt mentioned tho, its on my top 10 fav games of all time
(also the last clockwinder, the maskmaker, tower tag, a fishermans tale, rainbow reactor and floor plan)
I dont normally watch a 1 + hour video on youtube, but I watched it all the way through, thumbs up from me. Good stuff mate
Thanks
This is incredible. Thank you
just about to re-dive into vr after a 5 year break. This is a great video and very well prepared. A big thanks Matteo BUT it also highlights how limited the games are for VR and that there is only, and still a few standout titles.
If you want to "dive" back into VR, I highly recommend Subnautica with the SubmersedVR mod. It takes an amazing game that wasn't well adapted to VR and turns it into what I consider the single best VR experience out there. Quest 3 + Subnautica + Submersed VR = one of the best games on any platform in my opinion. Just about perfect.
I def would love to see a good list of VR ports.
I've been really digging Team Beef's Doom VR.
Jeez Matteo, thats a lot of work - I will find the time to watch it all
These videos have helped me buy some of my favorite VR games. Thank you
Any time
Thank you for making this behemoth of a video. I am about to get my first VR headset and this is a goldmine!
Glad it helps
Seriously well done video.
Great work!!! thanks a lot! 👏
The best VR source. Keep up the great work
Great stuff.. Needed this
Hell of a video! Way to go!
one of my favorite videos that you do!
Great work!!! Thanks 👏👏👏👏👏
Great job as always there is so many to rank its hard to rank them all, But one I really like is Into The Radius.
It should have been on the list. I guess it was lost in editing
Maybe it was meant to be in one of the two slots you gave I expect you to die 2 :)
This is a great video. You did a good job :)
Thanks
Was I Expect You to Die 2 in there twice, or am i crazy? I'm not counting the first game, here. But 2 twice. Was mostly listening while doing other stuff. Anyway, not that it matters. Fantastic video, sir.
It's possible I'm sure I made a mistake somewhere
It was in there twice.
Wanderer is one of my all time favourites. It isn't perfect but it sure looks great and plays great too. It's really polished and I totally loved the story. Also it has proper long campaign as all VR games should.
And keep in mind that I'm not really into puzzle games but this one hooked me nonetheless.
Great Work! Ty
love the separation of the platform ratings 👍 awesome job and a whole lot I need to buy now
Best vr games was already made: Half life Alyx, Astrobot Rescue Mission and resident Evil 7&8.
I hope you are happy I watched the whole thing from beginning to end. Hats off to you for putting it all together. Half-life alyx is still king. I only hope they bring it to PSVR 2. It would for sure be a system seller for them. For me to play it with those controllers with adaptive triggers and Haptics would just be the ultimate VR experience.
Great work man
Sat through the entire video. Really good content, subbed. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 do you have any good suggestions for a coop dungeon crawler type game? Karnage Chronicles on your list looked great. So did legendary tales but looking at the steam reviews, it seemed to of tanked due to not releasing an update? Cheers
@@marc69a dungeons of Eternity
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 thanks, I'll take a look! Ps, world's fastest reply 🤣. Edit, dam, no steam VR (I'm on Pico 4)
@marc69a maybe ancient dungeon then
Damn man alot of work on this video !!! Keep it up !
Guardians Frontline is my go to ALWAYS! ALWAYS new maps, great immersive feel and awesome community. It is a must have game that will have you addicted immediately
I just now grabbed my first VR and excited af waiting for it in the mail
This list is fire 🔥
Fantastic video
I already mentioned Wanderer here but I totally forgot about Star Wars Squadrons. It's great at everything. Story, graphics, gameplay, immersion. Flying is super fun and yet ships are not too difficult to pilot compared to other more hardcore flight sims. It strikes just the right balance for casual players. And of course it's Star Wars (if you are a fan)
Hell yeah
Thos is a great video! I just built a Murphy bed. Now I have enough space to play more games.
I would really recommend anceint dungeon it has the best throwing feel in any vr games ive played. The knife is super accurate to how you throw and is super satisfying. The only complaint is that i cant swap the different weapon sets so i could have the knife and crossbow
Great video!
thanks
Great Job Matteo
I think you could raise thumper a bit, when taking the PSVR 2 version into consideration. It still doesn't use motion controls, but the haptics are really excellent, especially the head haptics.
Dont have a #1, but some of my absolute favorites were Pixel Ripped 95, Ancient Dungeon, Twilight Zone, and obviously Half Life Alyx. (Dont have a lot of time for VR, so ive got about 20 games backlogged, and also i nees to grab a psvr2 at some point)
Great vid!
Thanks
Epic Roller coaster is one of my favorites and I’ve never been motion sick from it.
compound is awesome - Ancient Dungeon is also a real treat. I never was much into roguelite games, but these make a lot of sense
My number 1 VR game is Into the Radius
Dirty rally 2.0 is an amazing rally game and incredible with a wheel and a headset, extremely immersive and incredibly fun.
love the outro
Interesting list, hard work. Great job. You missed updating Iron Man VR and write it's also available on Quest 2 (just so you know).
I would've showed some more love for Time Stall, but that's a matter of taste. Interesting you preferred The Forest over Green Hell VR, as it's much older and rough around the edges (I love it and more since it's pretty cheap nowadays).
I would believe Swords of Ghurrah is dead. I bought it on a Steam Sale and wondered around for at least an hour without a single match to play.
Thx. Lot of games I didn't hear of
But would be easier to watch if titles where up (cause subtitles are usually on bottom)
great video! And your daughter! Aw, my heart
couldn't agree more about asgards wrath, also we are getting the sequel you wished for!
Walkabout mini golf is a KILLER with neck pain and back pain
Nice video just subscribed to your YT channel 👍
This is an amazing list, you should feel proud of the comprehensive job you have done.
And that is why this omission is all the more glaring. Subnautica is hands-down the single best VR game in existence. It used to be kind of tragic to me since it poorly adapted to VR, forcing you to use a game controller. No longer. A single guy fixed all that with his SubmersedVR mod. It's easy to install, and I got a Quest 3 just to play this game. All my previous gripes have been fixed.
- With the Quest3's higher resolution, Subnautica is now among the most "immersive" VR titles out there, with AMAZING graphics.
- It's a full on crafting survival title, a la The Forest or No Man's Sky. But No Man's Sky refuses to run smoothly for me in Quest 3, so I can't really play it anymore.
- If you ever wanted to craft undersea bases, explore the deep, uncover secrets, and basically just lose yourself in VR, I HIGHLY recommend Subnautica + SubmergedVR mod + Quest 3 hardware. It is impossible to be disappointed unless the PC rig you are using to play PCVR is too weak to handle the load. But it was seamless and performed flawlessly for me, unlike the aforementioned No Man's Sky which was worse than a janky slideshow that made me want to hurl.
You should play song in the smoke
Asgard's Wrath 2 is my favorite VR game ever, with the runner ups being Half-Life Alyx, Walking Dead: Saint & Sinners, Asgard's Wrath and Astro Bot.
I own a quest 2, but I'm thinking of upgrading to a psvr2 , because even though I love pcvr and there's tons of content I think if Sony does things right they'll be able to get publishers to produce some pretty great AAA titles that won't be on any other VR headset. Also after looking at the tech that's inside their headset for the price you'd have to invest into a pretty expensive PC VR headset, and not to mention you need a pretty good PC which I have but I'm still weighing the trade offs of getting a pcvr vs psvr2! Great video by the way.
this video is exactly what i was waiting for, but i'm very surprised you didn't mention bonelabs, that game was like the most anticipated vr game of 2022
It should have been on the list
@@Gamingwithmatteo311 i didn't see it, was it really low on the list?
