I know this is a older video but I've gone back and watched most all your videos just because I like you. Although I will say throughout time you have gotten better and better. I appreciate your idea of keeping the truck from being a parts truck. 1500 is a great deal with title at least around Texas. Your content is great and you definitely seem to get better and better. Keep on doing exactly what your doing. I'll grab a t shirt or something real soon. Black Friday buying a few things I've been putting off I really need at the moment. Great stuff! I'd probably stick a 300 i6 in it and volunteer to take the last LS to be recycled someday.

You've already got parts-
I even made one last Fall. Get pants, long sleeve shirt, gloves, boots.
Zip tie all together. Fill/stuff with damp leaves through unbuttoned shirt,
then button up tight. If you need rigidity- use broom handles in torso and/or back.
Basketball or pumpkin head, hat. Makeup, polyfill beard, spray paint any color.
Corn cob pipe. Rocking chair, put in car, front porch, roof.
Put up on ladder with Christmas lights going up to it- like he's helping.
Wet/damp leaves pack better, then dry fine. My friend's Aunt used to make
and sell $50 each, $10 clothes from Goodwill & free leaves. They used twine
back then, no zip ties. Last for years. Your girls would have a ball making them.
I put trim rings on with hub caps on 70 Ford and it looked great

I like your channel because it's mainly pick up truck rescues and being a pick up truck owner in the U.K it's great to see all the old American ones. Watching the Datsun pick up truck start up now. I bought a '72 Camper Special" F250. Body was good, but the 360 had about 3 psi of oil pressure. Found a '73 FTE 390 with an Edelbrock intake & a 410 tag on it at a junkyard I was friendly with. Pulled the heads, block was good (flood truck). Bought for $200. Took to a machinist buddy & sure enough...428 crank! Got some heads from a friend of a buddy in Oregon for $450. Big valve, '64 vintage, hardened seats. We built that motor- one of the torquey- ist motors I've ever owned

I do love this era of Fords there Puddin. Drop a 351 windsor [modern 351 w 6 bolt mains and dogs & gussets in the windage tray]... great motors you can do a lot with later on if you want to.

A story on that decal on the door. I was backed over by a Ford quite similar to that one in 1978. Doing a state inspection at the shop I worked at, did the outside brake test, pulled the truck into bay 1, put it in park, opened the door while it was running, went around to align and check the headlights, and the damn thing popped into reverse. While running. and started backing itself out the bay door. I raced to the open door , dove in and grabbed the column shift, missed, and had the door wreck my left knee. 16 weeks later I was back at work. I wasn't the first , nor the last to have the shift selector detent fail on them. Never made it to court. 2 years later Ford offered $1200 to settle. Wife said to take it. My knee is still trash.

Judging from the looks of that oil pan there is something in the engine that wanted out! It looks like it almost made it! In response to the recall on Fords due to them jumping from park to reverse it most certainly happened! I bought a 1970 Maverick from a man for $50.00 because his wife got run over by it not once but twice and she thought it was possessed!! I gave it to my stepdaughter to drive but it liked her it didn't run her over! I didn't bother to point out that getting run over once was due to a defect in the vehicle, But getting run over twice was due to a defect in the driver! For a few years you had Fords running over their owners and if that didn't kill them they had a little piece of rubber hose in the fuel line that connected the line to the filter that would crack open and set the car on fire! I know you will find this hard to believe but I was at the same gas station twice when women pulled right up to the gas pump because their car was on fire! And it was the same gas station that the guys wife got run over twice at! I finally quit going there! I know what you mean about the power wash video's I still can't decide who is the most lame, You for posting them or us for watching them!
The power washer videos aren’t the greatest I’ll admit, but if Puddin’ didn’t put them out occasionally we’d have never gotten to see how nice the truck in this case cleaned up or how nice it looked after he hit it with the Patina Shine
In the old days i always heard throwing a rod out thru the oil pan. Never knew if they meant the long thin push rods which usually bent or did they mean the piston rod?

@@drewdaskievige754 They meant the connecting rods! (piston rods) I blew up a Pontiac 350 that I knew was junk and had a 400 ready to replace it with! I was trying to get the car out of a deep snow drift to put it in the garage to change the engine! Just as I got out of the drift the engine blew itself to pieces! It blew two rods and pistons apart and they took out a big piece of the cam and both sides of the block on their way out! cut the oil pan into two pieces! I had a gallon of oil, two gallons of coolant and a big pile of engine parts all over my driveway! I was thirty feet from the garage when it let go but it was downhill and shoveled out from there,I coasted the rest of the way into the garage and spent about an hour making sure I picked up all of the engine parts so I didn't get punctured tires then I dumped two bags of oil dry on my driveway!
It's so hot and humid here in southeast Virginia near the ocean that we've been making our own gravy if you know what I mean

I once brazed a oilpan with a atcetilline torch and a coat hanger with the pan still on the motor . Blew the oil filler cap right off ! Filled it up with oil and drove it 400 kilometers from Red Earth to Edmonton back in 84 . It lasted till I sold her . It was a old vega with a v8 , not the best for gravell roads .😁 I had a short box Ford f150 , it would get stuck in a pile of dog poo . That Bubbly is refreshing when its been in the fridge .
