Jim J Bullock: In the Spotlight

In every successful TV series, there’s always that supporting character, who helps make the show complete. Happy Days had the Fonz, Good times had JJ,Family ties had Alex, Family Matters had Urkel, and Too close for comfort had Monroe. Monroe, was to be a one time appearance. However, tonight guest left such an impression with the audience from that “ one time “ guest spot, the producers had no choice but to capitalize on his popularity, and by mid season he went from recurring, to series regular. What started out as one and done, became an unforgettable 6 year run, cementing his place in TV history. Jim J Bullock was one of the most underrated actors of the 1980’s. He was one of the main regulars on the long running game show “ Hollywood Squares” bringing his enthusiasm and humor, which had viewers tuned in each and everyday. His voice work in the 90s and early 2000’s was another example of just how gifted and talented this remarkable human being is. Tonight, Jim sits down with us to talk about his wonderful career, the impact Ted Knight had on him as a mentor and friend, as well as sharing some great stories and memories of a career that has continued to stand the test of time.
