I literally just learned about this band a couple of hours ago, as I just finished watching their Austin City Limits show they did back in 1/2023. Can't believe I never heard of them until now, because this kind of stuff is right up my alley. I really dug every song from that set.

@@Ceini Under The Pressure is great. I Don't Live Here Anymore is great. But, like I wrote, I just discovered the band so I haven't heard everything they've done yet but I will eventually. They have a great sound. I play guitar and Adam's playing is exactly the sound I like.

@krosm And...to belabor my point a bit... the colors rushing by are the blurred memories of the road, and the way the imagery is shot, in that soft, golden light feels very nostalgic to me. Like old, faded photographs, or a warm memory of a pastoral summer day. All that speaks of home.

@y3k23k I think UO (blaming them since they produced the director's idea) just thinks we're all still blurry faced 16 yr-old hipster trash at heart! Agreeing with you, their new album is such a relief since I realized that the Arcade Fire now only likes chanting and organs, and that Cate Blanchett (looks like an alien) can't realistically take over for Dylan (probably thinks he's an alien). I've also given up hope that the Boss could ever get his real pipes back.

@extremelybusy123 Hmmmm. I see it a bit differently. I think its the opposite. I think its the feeling of a homecoming after being away and disconnected and, like you say, lost or insubstantial in a way. The way the drum picks up intensity and force conveys a sense of arrival. His cheer at 1.52 is victory. The words talk of accepting a place, being proud of it, despite its warts and scars and finding your own spot in that familiar land. He's come back to PA, baby. Such a killer song. Goosebumps.

This sounds a little like U2's Bad. Though this is also a great song. Nothing against it. There are just only so much chord sequences you can come up with.
