Haaving the vocoder controlled by a second person is such an interesting dynamic. Especially in the intro, the free time.... Gotta have such good musical chemistry between the two for it to be tight. And y'all NAILED it.
Also saw that happening at a Jacob collier concert were he was singing and maro was playing the vocoder, that was so cool
yeah, you can tell just by the way they smile at each other while they're playing that they're just VIBING. But Jack seems to kind of have musical chemistry with everyone, his enthusiasm for sound is infectious
If you didn't mention this I would have made a conspiracy theory about it.. cheers
Imogen Heap is a genius.
This is so lovely. It still retains the dreamy quality of the fantastic original but those shimery synth harmonies and the drum backbone gives it such a boppy quality. Instant smile-maker.
That was amazing. Fantastic. I love Bella’s voice. Also, that studio has an amazing collecting of vintage gear.

Would have loved to hear the full song tho, the other parts that were cuted out of this cover are so special and with these context, composition and voice it would have been MAGICAL!

this is possibly the most purposeful piece I've heard from Pomplamoose in awhile. It's always good, just, sometimes, you can feel the intention in every aspect and this is one of those times.

This is actually the second time Jack and Swatkins have covered this song! Check out Scary Pockets' version - it's a little different, more upbeat and funky.

First heard you guys with the cover of nature boy, must have been 10-11 years ago now. Providence has it that the same day that I go through my nostalgia back catalog is the same day you upload something cool and interesting. Love this song, tremendous lyrics. I think it’s about a divorcing couple; crop circles on the carpet and dust, oily spots on walls from removed pictures, ransom notes of manipulations and resentments… a beautiful piece of writing.
