The idea for making this video is to show how having 4, 5 and 6 stars, who all consume hope, are just luxuries that makes stages easier. Relics are also just luxuries that you don't need. In a way, I'm teaching you to work from bottom-up, learn the minimum requirements. Then, taking any units or relics above the requirements will ease up all the showed stages. This way, Integrated Strategies is playable with practically any squad that you desire.
I actually did get to the final floor ONE TIME in IS3. That run had me blessed by RNG. Silver HR letter. AND GUESS WHO IT WAS! IT WAS BLAZE! Helped GREATLY with the pathfinder boss. Had to end the run early due to encountering battles I couldn’t survive.
Quick tip for the Pool of Procreation stage: If you don't have a good way to quickly deal with the top left enemy (the one near the blue box) then leak him and focus on the right side. It's better to sacrifice one HP than try to manage both sides at the same time, thus potentially leaving holes in your defenses.
Texas, Goldenglow and Mylnar carried me to my n15 win. To see your 3 star placement lets me know i could do better in placing my operators. You made some of these stages look so simple. I'd love to see more is3 content.

I want more people to try IS, its a really good way to train your skills in AK, of course if you have the time cause a complete run is at least an hour
This last 2 months the only thing i do in AK is IS, i even upgraded a lot of operators just for that game mode, operators that i would never use if it wasn't for this wich is awesome
I kinda addicted with the IS tho 🤣. I already claimed all the rewards for IS3 in one week (also finished the enhancement nodes). I'm still in N7 bc I wanted the trim of the medals and i would try the run again with the next difficulty if they updated the rewards. One thing I like for IS is I can focus on one operator I like to semi-solo it 🤣.
Amazing Idea, Kukki, very amazing. Looking foward for your take. I miself have been adapting to Mizuki Caruela, and i started using even 2*, something i dropped in my first month. That is why i enjoy IS overall, it gives the oportunity to use different units and combinations.
This is the reason why I leveled my 3 stars before IS1. They are still really good units. Not to mention they were really cheap to upgrade and helped round out my squad for general content.
Personally, my strategy for the Pathsaper is usually to kill him as fast as possible WITHOUT blocking him since that will give him less opportunity to summon his minions which can easily overwhelm you if you're not careful.
Really cool run! It's been fun trying to adjust my recruitments compared to how I did things for IS2 and challenge all these new bosses. That said, nothing (at base, so not surging waves +7-15) comes close to being as annoying as Sad Lock. I'm not sure why but that boss skill issued me a great deal more than any in IS3.
I'm upset that in all of my IS3 runs, I never thought to block the top with someone instead of constantly letting my ops get stunned in the middle box once the corruption spread there

Honestly hate IS with a passion, but runs like these make me appreciate that you can clear it with low starts. I usually just throw Texas Alter and go ham.
I was wondering how on earth could you possibly beat the boss lol. Good luck trying to actually beat it. I've no idea how you'll do it with access to basically no way to remove Low-Altitude Hovering, and no Relics to supercharge your damage.
He mentions it - clears the side mobs, tank the boss. Probably 40ish life points required? A few of the fliers can be killed, but the later ones spawn with the boss. Perhaps only recruiting 3* and going for no relics means we can spend the whole run looking for life? Still, I’ve never gotten more than 20, but it seems possible. Start with 9+, get the objective shield grom every perfect floor, get good rng on +hp relics and events

cognitive is the most impactful buff in IS mode i beat ed1 boss in ascen 4 with thorns solo dps max cognitive on cn but when i tried it on en in the first day, it's a bit hard even with thorns + other 6*s dps and good relics in ascen 1
Although I understand what the point of the video is, I can't help but feel it is very misleading to new players who do not have the entire cognition shaping completed with all investments done. It may set false expectations that new players believing they are that bad at the game when they don't realize how impactful the cognition shaping powers are.
with a large 6* roster, what's the best method of recruiting, as in should you only take them elite 2 if they require their 3rd skill and keep filling your squad as elite 1 until you have a well rounded team then upgrade them as you can to elite 2?
Try to prioritize getting your carries out as soon as possible. Some unit are universally good. Kaltsit has a strong start as E1, healer and 3 block unit and simply gets better at E2. Some units are fine leaving at E1, like Gavial Alter her S3 doesn't really add much. Most of the time it is probably dependent of the boss. Try to get the unit that would help killing the boss as soon as possible, basically. Don't try to get someone like Texas Alter, like the node right before the last boss. You should try to get those types of units much earlier. You could try to gamble it if you can get to a safehouse. For the classes Caster: GG, or Ejya. GG much better for her skills and has res ignore. Guard: Kind of got nerfed in IS3: Młynar is the best unit. Nearl Alter and Thorns are solid picks, although Thorns is better due to his S3 being ranged and large. Medics: You want AoE or Therapist medics. So someone like Nightengale or Lumen. Kaltsit is good. I like Kaltsit because I think she is one of the better starting units and provides a stable start. This is mostly because they nerfed class squads. Sniper: Pozy is probably the best pick. I think Chen Alter is still pretty strong. Specialists: In general, they are probably the best class for IS3. With Texas Alter easily being the best unit. Supporter: I don't really use the class much, so I cant really tell you much. I would say Skalter might be the best easy option, a unit that is probably fine at E1. Ling is probably like Kaltsit with her start if you can master her. Defenders: Defenders are meh, but Horn is probably the only one that is note worthy for the mode. If I am not getting Horn I typically only get spot and trade him out for a better unit later like Saria. Horn also has a decent start with her S2 being an aoe hit. Vanguard: Not all that useful, even less so with all the ranged mobs. Don't forget there are some insanely good lower rarities. La Pluma and Highmore are strong starting out with. Lappland has her silence. Ptilopsis and Kroos Alter, are insanely good and are probably worth like a 6*. Remember Kroos Alter has a talent that lets her stun(along with others like Aak), which is like a silence for some mobs and counters the low flying units. Jaye has a heal and a silence skill, as well as being a fast redeploy. Myrtle is still a good dp printer.
@kosmos I stopped playing like 3 months ago and just came back so ive got 95% of those units I am missing some of the newer alters. Still no Texas alt. Which sucks after 70 rolls. I know a lot of what your saying but you definitely filled in a lot of gaps, I did not go into the previous IS much so that plus a 3 month break it's like 100% new again. while the video itself is helpful to better understand how IS3 works, still keep in mind that: 1. it's low ascension. if you want to do higher difficulties then you will need to adapt and improve, especially because of next points. 2. it's 3* only. yes, these are "weak" operators, but you realistically would use your standard 4-6* operators instead, and these require you to engage in two new mechanics that this video doesn't touch on: hope management and promotions. being 6* ops or go home type of player, in IS3 5-6* operators are really expensive, especially with ascensions, and you gain a limited amount of hope, as well as there's a need to fish for the same class/promotion vouchers to E2 your operators, which can really bite you in the ass. 3. this is maxed skill tree AND maxed shop donations. you realistically will not have this in the first ~100 runs, since tree skills income is kinda slow and you can donate around 5 ingots per run, and you need 500. these two things really help you to "stabilize" your run and get it going no matter how hard you mess up. the video is still helpful, but i suggest you to check out usual IS3 runs since it has more to teach you than you might expect, get knowing good relics, different strategies, how broken Texalter is, etc.

IS(s) mode made me realize that i have a MASSIVE skill issues in this game. Not once have i reached an ending in both IS.
Here's a simple trick:
Step 1: During the recruitment phase, pick Texalter.
Step 2: Win.

During the Relics choosing node, why do you hope to get a 1 on a Die roll.
Rolling a 1 gives you a random Relic instead of the one you chose.
