Awesome to hear unbiased thoughts on AOC. As a Raiders fan myself, our fanbase honestly doesn’t realize what we have with him. I expect solid play and growth from him this season.

Been saying it all offseason. Aiden was the 2nd best rookie QB last year. Only CJ Stroud was better
I’m happy to have AOC on my team as a QB and give him a chance to start with a full off season.
My knock on him was getting Tae the ball(knowing what open means in the nfl and how to throw them open) and him missing Tae against Jalen Ramsay on that double move.

I called it during preseason, he is a potential future hall of famer. I think he is going to shock the world this coming season.

Most of AOC's int came in that first Chargers game and when he first started. The last 4 games he played he had 8 tds and 0 ints. As a 4th round rookie, he was the best QB on the team. Now he's trained this whole off-season and worked out! This guy is going to be READY TO BALL!! Also, what no one seems to know, is that he broke Drew Brees' records at Purdue. The kid and flat out BALL!!
and McD hung him out to dry in that first game, too . . .
He also didn't get any 1st team reps his first off-season, really until mcdaniels got fired. He had no chemistry with any of the starting WRs besides maybe mayer and Tucker from rookie mini camp. Once AP took over and benched Jimmy G he was the guy and never looked back. This offseason is huge for him and the battle with gardner will keep both of them motivated and playing at a high level by week 1. Really don't hate Aidens stat line last year considering the circumstances with the coaching change and he didn't even start half the year.

And with how hard Aiden has been working this off-season and his accuracy as a rookie with NO real work with the 1st skill players, I think his ceiling is higher than Minshew's. Because Minshew has been a league backup. And when he was starting, things around him were not good. He's an expensive backup, but at 7.5 mill a year, it's not too bad. Even if he collects the whole $25 mil, it's 12.5. For a solid backup, which is what I see him as, that's not bad. I just feel, personally, AOC has the higher ceiling. Will he showcase that, is TBD. But, that's what we're all hoping for. At least most of us
@@devontegilliam9211 Man oh man I hope you're right. But there are so many cases where the "sophomore slump" hits instead. Because yes, he'll have the off season; but the rest of the NFL will now have tape and prep time dedicated to HIM. When we see rookie phenoms , this is often the reason: teams haven't had time to prepare for their strengths/weaknesses.
@jaggedstarrPI I agree with you on that, but in the case of Aiden, they don't really have a true test of what he can do because he only played half a season and the team isn't the same and he isn't the same. Having a full off-season knowing he'll have a chance to start will change a lot of his mental approach. I will be shocked if Minshew beats him out for the starting role!

Add Bowers!? Ive seen AOC make some amazing passes for a rookie, so if he can build his confidence that'll take him further this season.

He’s deadly accurate which goes a long ways in the NFL and the an important part of playing the position . He’s smart first then deadass accurate second with an arm that can push the ball down the field
He can be accurate, but his biggest problem was his accuracy as well ironically. Especially in that chiefs game where he didn’t complete a pass after the first quarter
I think he’s good at finding the open receiver, it’s just getting the ball to him was the problem, here’s to hoping he improves on that next year

He’s learning a new offense under Luke getsy this year but he will have a full offseason taking first team reps which he didn’t get last year. There was a learning curve but the last 4 games of the season he threw 8 TDs 0 INTs. As a Raiders fan I am excited for the first time in a long time. We added Brock bowers, added depth to our O-line and our Defense is legit.
best thing about this is adams already knows the whole offence so he can also teach aidan the playbook
Last 5 games went 8 TDs to 0 ints went 3-2 with 2 losses losing 2 close games 23-20 to Colts and 3-0 to Vikings. He represents all the people that is constantly being over looked and doubted, brings hard work and dedication. His brother passed away in college and he still was composed. I'm rooting for the kid!

Incredible breakdown of AOC #4, and it comes from a Seahawks fan. Not only his rookie season but not even a full season as he only became the starter in week 9. He was QB#3 on the depth chart after we signed him, which is exactly what expectations were for him, to sit and learn from Jimmy G. When it comes to making the leap from NCAA to NFL the offseason, mini camp and OTA's are huge to get first team reps. The speed change and learning the speeds of your receivers is crucial to success in this league because so many throws are timing throws into tight windows. He has the talent to make all the throws, he has the football IQ to be a baller. I think it's all down to confidence in his game now and getting all the preseason work as a potential QB#1. In this league you know you gotta earn the spot.
I would like to say I got mad respect for ya bruh. Even if you are a Seahawks fan. The unbiased commentary is amazing. This is one of the best reactions to Aiden, that I have seen so far from a non Raider fan. Its nice to see what some us on Raider Nation see in the kid. Keep up the great work.

AOC will have a new OC in Luke Getsy, which worries me a bit. I am, however, very excited to see how he's grown with his confidence, ability to read NFL defenses, and his chemistry with his teammates. Not only was he a rookie last year, but he was third on the depth chart until he became the starter, post McDaniels. Not a lot of time to get reps before he was thrown into the fire. Glad LV didn't draft a QB this year. Let's see what AOC can do

Adams can help breakdown the offense to the guys and this will help build on that chemistry between DA, JM, and Tre Tucker! Look at how he could hit all his boys in stride! He would drop the ball in the basket for them to catch! AOC and all of the Offense is gonna eat this year! We got Zeus coming out the backfield, smashing dudes in the mouth, while #23 gonna be that boy with the shiftyness like Jacobs but i feel a bit better. The Oline was really pulling together the last 3 games of the season. They just built on that. Yo, this is a different year.

However, as someone who lives in Chicago and watched Getsy for 3 years, I have every right to be nervous. He is poor at adjusting and play calling in the 2nd and 4th quarters specifically. I understand Justin Fields limitations, but I have also watched Luke call 3 screen passes in a row, and then punt. Remember, Getsy was the third choice as the Raiders OC. In my eyes, he has a lot to prove before I feel comfortable with him

Thanks for the breakdown on aoc. This was the 1st time I noticed his throwing motion which reminds me of a qb i couldn't stand(tuck rule) his high release on his deep ball is almost perfect. I'm old enough to remember a seahawks fan and raider fan as a cpl wound be considered a house divided 😅😅 i still consider the hawks as a rival. Zorn to largent was almost unstoppable. Great vid.

A lot of these highlights are on 3rd and 4th down because AP didn’t want to put Aidan in a situation where he is asked to do a lot. He was specifically told to play safe and let the D and run game work.

Both are learning the system, so no one has the leg up. But I agree with you, Raiders need to see what they got in Aidan. Need to know if he's the future or if they need to draft their future QB. So far, I like what I see.

We got a new OC Luke Getsy formerly of Chicago and Green Bay. We drafted Brock Bowers. Aiden in his second year this offense is gonna be sick. Watch some cutups from mini camp where all our qb's were throwing balls into a net 20 yards down field. Aiden made 3 out of 4 to different areas of the field and Minshew and other dude missing the net entirely.

It is good to hear an analyst who actually understands the modern game. They have been saying AOC can't scramble and holds the ball too long. Finally, someone sees that he is waiting for the route to mature and has the guts to stays in the pocket and doesn't look at the receiver until it is time to throw the ball. The media has been brainwashed by Patrick Mahomes into thinking that running out of the pocket is modern quarterbacking. AOC is THE GUY. The Raiders didn't waste a draft pick or give up any picks to find a rookie quarterback. They knew what they had. So the drafted a generational tight end instead. And supplemented with assembling a quality OL that can give AOC even more time in the pocket. (Not to mention a killer DL)

So many people hold the KC game as an example that Aiden is an incompetent with few completions, but the 3 are this one are straight fire. The earlier plays look like my Madden offense throwing into multiple. Do a Zamir White video maybe, or Malcome Koonce. Your wife is cool, go Raiders!
