      What route did you choose for the rear camera, door sills or head liner?

    hey ;) thx a lot for this helpful clip. What kind of connection did you use for the red 12V wire in left corner at 17:51 ?

      It's just a blue fully insulated female spade crimp.

    Wow. What a fantastic guide. I'm attempting this one my self and this so thorough. Thabk you. When you say you can connect the two to tbe same accessory only for non parking mode do you mean i can just put both the red and yellow wire into the same permanent crimp??

      Thanks, not totally sure what you are asking, however, here's all the possible answers: If you put red and yellow wire into same crimp and then connect to ACC(essory) +VE then your dashcam with turn on with ignition and turn off with ignition and there will be no "parking mode". Splitting red for permanent 12V and yellow for ACC (ignition) means the little box can tell it's in "parking mode" (12V on but ACC is off) where it will keep the dashcam running until it hits the preset low voltage limit at which point it will cut power to dashcam. You could also put red and yellow wire into same crimp and then connect to to permanent 12V which means dashcam will be *permanently on* and won't turn off until you battery is flat! Which you don't want...

    that is so useful for me, thanks a lot. I have a question, idk if you are reading comments anymore, 😅 2A fuse on 20A, caused any trouble?

      @munsie888  Před 4 měsíci

      Not sure what you mean by trouble? Please explain your thoughts? Nothing has blown a fuse on that circuit (yet!? :) ). The piggy back connector/tap off connector is using original 20A fuse for the original circuit and the tap off from that circuit for the dashcam has a dedicated 2A fuse.
