Unfortunately for me, the demo comes out literally 1 day before I have exams... Welp, all this means is that I have to make sure to have studied everything by the time it releases, huh?

So on the new logo I see a cat, a crab's claw and the big black thing that wants to eat reimu looks like a snake(?). Really hyped to see the new characters.
I'm pretty sure thay the crab claw is a snake head.
@@rasmusmalmberg6468 Yeah, that makes sense since the game title only indicates 2 "masterminds" behind the incident. That makes me wonder if the final boss is going to be a duo, or if the wily and weakest beast will have their own separate stages.
The stage background's woods looks like the ones in Youmu scenario in SWR
Those are wooden sotoba, wood strips covered in Buddhist inscriptions used for funerals. Indeed the Netherworld seems to be littered with them, so it's certainly a likely candidate for that Touhou 17 stage.

Weird, i kind of feel like ZUN's music has gotten worse over time. LOLK has an amazing ost, but other than that, i think the newer releases are on the weaker side (still rlly good though).
Well since ZUN always change his music style, so i guess that's why you think like that
Sukuna's theme boomed in popularity a lot in youtube tbh, and raiko's theme has had famous drum covers. I personally like Matara's theme a lot.
I think theres been a slight style change, musically I can tell ZUN tried being a lot more creative and jumping into a few new sounds starting from SA really(just beforehand, trying to be creative doesnt work for a lot of people). Use of some electric guitar, strange, super strange rhythmic choices, (Hartmann's youkai/Makai city esoterica are written in time signatures not prevalent in 90% of today''s music )
Though i share a similar opinion with you that LOLK really blew a lot of the past games out of the water, i personally think it probably has the 1st or 2nd best OST of all the series(not counting pc98), i think trying to top the best over and over again could prove to be really challenging though hahaha
