bosch heat pump - Jak na to + styl
I just want to name this .."fabulous"
Nice work everyone. And yes Mikey, you do have an amazing team.
You have a great crew they do great work you should be proud
#letgobosch always glad to see you and the guys take pride in your work!
That's why I like there units even when they ramp up still quite,
Nice job.
thats awesome to protect the control board on the condenser you guys are awesome
4 guys with ya makes the job go quickly. #LoveBosch.
A point well taken as to snow on the condenser fan blades. I have had that happen here in Oklahoma one winter. The condenser fan made the most awful noises as it was trying to rid itself of a snowfall from the evening before. A heavy and quite wet snowfall and then a quick freeze turned the snow to ice. My cure for that was to drag out my electric heat gun with which I melted all of the ice on the condenser fan. No damage to any component.
Beautiful Work ✨
He goes so easy on Chris 😂
Damn! Mikey Pipes is balling
Great job guys 😊😊😊😊😊
Bosch looks good
Great job 👍😍
thank you so much for making videos getting back into hvac ,tried doing irrigation and it's not for me. watch all your videos for years. I'm close by in central jersey just found a new job in hvac with a small company that wants us to learn
You’re not allowed to leave again you know, only one chance
God everytime I see a beautiful Bosch system I have to install one I beg my manager but we are out in Arizona so the wait is forever !
stupendaaaa,Super ! You are so striking!☀
Love This one
Great vid Mikey, you should swap those panels on the condenser around so the logo is front and center
Good thing I can only count to four LOL hope you all have a good weekend
Hey Mikey: Is your son back full time again? Yes, your entire team worked their asses off this week with major installations
He has a really good team, they’re aces
Nice job as usual Pipes just one thing I’ll critique your supply duct should be stepped down to maintain static pressure
Amazing 💪
From VA every year I see a few heat pumps with the outdoor fans frozen solid in place. Snow melts off the roof and gutters are not working for one reason or another, the melt is just above freezing such that when it comes in contact with the fan shroud and air discharging that's 20+ below ambient it will flash freeze to the shroud and build up unit it holds the fan in place and the fan becomes frozen in place coveted in ice.
Keep such post posting
Mikey and the A-Team #LoveBosch ... Enough said ... TGIF ...
Mikey is overdoing it with the lusting over Bosch. We get it dude, Bosch is sponsoring you but they are not the best out there I guarantee you that in terms of service and parts. On another note, you do very good job with your crew and neat too.
@@PipeDoctor Mikey didn't mean to come out as a dick , was just motioning it since i heard you say it too often. You are one of the most thorough AC guy out there with your crew. i wish you were up north here, i'd hire you to replace my whole system that i'm looking at doing in the next few weeks.
Nicely done. Admire the work the team is doing.
These Bosch units are using what's commonly known as minisplit tech but on a ducted system. I predict all makers will eventually go this way. They run so much more efficient. I have a minisplit in one of my garages and it's amazing.
Some A/C guys have gone ductless or mostly ductless. You are trading long lineset runs for ducts. Very curious to see the long term on all those long linesets. Bosch really found a hybrid niche. Best of both worlds.
Bryant already has one. You just remove the jndoor txv, and hook it up with a relay panel.
Your neighbor got what they paid for! Lol
No code on placing it in front electric meter?
You are the reason, I am smiling today
Wõw šóò çûtê lóòk..Good♥♥
fabulous 💘
Mikey pipes, I live in the same climate zone as you and was just wondering what you see for heating values in cold weather. Is it similar to a conventional heat pump which is good to down around 35?
We learned in school that when talking about heat pumps it’s better to use “indoor coil” and “outdoor coil” to avoid confusion
Yeah my boss always corrects me on that lol
@@murkyturkey5238 it's only because he cares lol
Bungalow bangers.
Micro channel ?, Can you pump down that condenser?
Do I have to come down there fix that second floor disconnect! LOL
In a heat pump your outdoor coil becomes the evaporator and the indoor coil becomes the condenser when running in heat mode
Could you do a video on the wiring for this unit please?
Thanks dude
It's called a Trans evap coil and a Trans condensing coil when in heating obviously
like too see you put the towns you are working in, you did this at one time?
Technically the coils switch because the reversing valve reverses the flow of refrigerant. Out here on the west coast 95% of the units i work on are heatpumps and we just call it the indoor coil and out door coil because their responsibilities switch with the flow of refrigerant
@@PipeDoctor well you were 100% right when u said the odu would be the evaporater in heat. And O/B is the reversing valve(as u know) but the reason theres 2 designations is because the reversing valve only gets energized in 1 mode. For example trane energizes the RV in cooling only so cool on a trane would be B because in heat the RV is just Off pretty much
@@zaccody6980 "O" energizes the RV in cooling mode, "B energizes the RV in heating mode. The RV needs to be energized in cooling for TRANE units so you have to use "O". as far as I know and as far as I've seen, only RUUD/RHEEM use "B" 🙂
Mr.Pipes question , need to transition to round I think 14in. but the paperwork shows a max of 2150 cfm on 4 ton ,can ya give me a hand, thanks
Thank you
For heat pumps the condenser is referred to as the outdoor unit and the evaporator is referred to the indoor unit doesn’t matter which operation it is in
Are those compressors made by any brand like Copeland or so. Or is it a special type of compressor not commonly used in other systems except Bosch?
Is the point of the highrise pads to keep elevated (away from snow) when using heat pump?
Yes it also allows the water to drain away during the defrost cycle.
Heat pump coils are usually identified as indoor DX coil and outdoor DX coil.
How about the 'Outdoor Unit'.
Here you must maintain 36" clearance from meter electrical meter.
I’m sure they thought about snow when designing and if it’s snowing it’s cold out and heats gonna be on I would think it would melt any accumulation
I wouldn't worry about snow, I think ice falling onto the condenser is a bigger threat. But I think only once I saw that happen where it caused damage
Heatpumps are the future but im still more of a fan of dual fuel
They have dual source Heat now?
Oh ok different floors
👍👍
Outdoor coil, indoor coil. No confusion.
i normally just call them a outside unit and a inside unit. as most shepales don't under stand the terms just the location.
80°? Mikey, what is this the shoe cobblers pool!
I agree, I would be embarrassed if I invited installators I to a cluttered shit show for a home
INDOOR OUTDOOR coils
That Bosch looks like oxbox
in heat pumps pros know to just call them outdoor and indoor coils as we know there roles can switch.
IDU and ODU. .. indoor unit and outdoor unit. At least that how LG calls them.
Installing that duct very inefficiently was hurting my eyes. Cutting the take offs on the side and not the top. ugh!
@@PipeDoctor Wrong again bub. I have 25 years experience in sheet metal duct work. Most of the take off could have went on top of the duct. The pipe was not in the way of that!
It’s the evaporator technically but who cares! Do you not install backup strip heat, for supplemental heat during defrost? Maybe i missed that.
Mikey fucking pipes is back!! How did you get that flex 😂 supply chain shortage is no joke…Damn love that Bosch!! #loveBosch btw who’s the winner from yesterday’s giveaway? That mini split coil looks banged up man…
👍💝💘
What ever happened to Godzilla???
It’s an evaporator coil if you ask me . Mikey pipes please don’t pull a silicone Sal job . On grill on the grill and I hope you were joking .
I have a feeling Peter might have some anxiety issues.
Looking foreward to your next sodimize visit at the gas station lol. Gas went up here .50 cents over night. Can imagine what it did by you.
FJB!!!!
How can you sell a high end Bosch heat pump with only 1" air filter? WTF its like buying a Mercedes with cloth seat!
As a former homeserve installer working in the Brooklyn/queens shop (5-6 years) they start late for one so that’s why we always end jobs late (idk why they never made us start at 7) also the salesman all suck. They never get the right equipment, everything is always too big and never fits, a lead installer makes 21 hours an hour, when I left I was making 25 knowing how to do heating and cooling installs name of the game at homeserve is quantity not quality. Guy do try there best but all get burnt out. Take care of your guys and they’ll take care of you. I quit in at the end of April and they are cry because they want me back. Great place to work and learn but not enough growth for young guys. Love your channel reach out Mr pipes if you want to know more
Why other people dont like this, they have no reason to dislikes
Just one question mike, my name is also mike btw. What percentage of a sale do your workers get. My boss only gives me 50$ for an entire ac or furnace sale.
We get nothing at my job for sales. I dont think its very common in my area
Funny F Joe Biden like Trump was better. I guess a lot forgot about the pandemic which he called a hoax and blamed it on the democrats but it’s okay everyone has there own opinion. But I still love the channel and I always will continue to support you brother because you and your guys do excellent work if I lived there in your area I would hire you and guys in a second. Continue the great work Mikey and if you ain’t testing your guessing. I love that quote the best of all times.
Why is the old steam boiler still in the basement?
I'm Canadian, so I don't really care about US Politics, even though it does affect us.
In some cases it sounds like hot water and or steam heating can be high maintenance.
I'm surprised people don't just convert over to forced air.
Then have one system for heating and cooling.
When you're married and not allowed to talk about girls anymore:then such post make me crazy
Mike you should know better
FJB, the absolute worst potus EVER, say all you want about the Potato 🥔 I agree 💯 FJB.
Beautiful work as usual Dr Pipe 👏 😃
Hey admire the political talk love it😂
Wow, tha c.u. in right in front of the electrical meter, let's go Brandon
I’ve always hated those condenser pads the look ugly AF. Ruins the aesthetics of the unit.
No way they look sick AF. There also room in the back to put a little water bottle dish of borax for ants.
Too much work it's all flex bro for the duct work offense love your channel long time viewer but your not a tin knocker everything ordered nothing made it house. No hate just friendly advice. The quality of ductwork and sheet metal ain't there to go with your Boschs
Nothing wrong with me being a Brandon....
YOU TALK TOO TOO MUCH!!!!!
Dude, I want Lets Go Bosch tshirt. How do I get one. ? I have installed a hundred of these. All heat pumps with Ecobee stats because Nest stats are fucking gay.
Love the comedy that comes with the work. Well Done
