    ►ABOUT ME
Welcome to my channel! My name is Paul, or Teacher Paul, as I have become to be known. I've been calling Shanghai, China home since 2015. Teaching wasn't initially on my radar, but once I stepped into the classroom, I discovered a passion I never knew I had. Over the years, I've honed my skills through hands-on experience and self-teaching, evolving into a competent early years educator.
My journey has been about growth and sharing knowledge. I strive to empower beginner teachers by offering insights and methods gleaned from my own experiences. While I don't consider myself an exceptional teacher, I believe in the power of continuous improvement and the impact of effective teaching practices.
Whether you're embarking on your teaching journey or seeking fresh ideas, my channel is here to support you. Let's navigate the world of education together and uncover what it means to be a great teacher.

Hello, Just wanna say Thank you. It really helped me with my kids. I’m teaching English to 3-6 yr olds as well. And it’s really hard to draw their attention, let alone teach them anything. This is my first time dealing with kids this age and I’m still trying to figure out a way to work with them. I gotta say I’m really impressed by your patience and your high threshold for noise!

sure, perhaps more science is better. this was actually one of my first attempts at a science lesson. so definitely need better ideas, planning and experience.

@@Teacher_Paul Great lesson but Why did you leave teaching? - the salary in china is pretty high normally? or too much stress?

@@sciencepowerpoints good question. the money was great. and the kids were great. nothing to do with the working environment. its true kids can be tough sometimes but its also extremely rewarding. however i was working 12 hour days. and i didnt study education at university. i just kind of fell into this job and it turned out i was not bad at it. although i just left because i wanted a more long term career for myself. im not sure teaching in china is something i could do long term. hope that answers your question and thank you for your kind words.
