    Aww 😊 It was so cute how the kids looked so amazed by the experiment! You seem like a great teacher, and have earned a subscriber!

    This was awesome. I first was just looking at how well you handled and grasped the kid’s attention, your hand motions, tone of voice and direct eye-contact (I am about to homeschool my kindergartener this year and that is important, how to keep his focus on me) so I called my mother in law because she is switching to kindergarten this year. She loved the experiment and we are saving it. Thanks so much and keep them coming!

    You are an awesome teacher. I really enjoy watching you interact with your children and your teaching style. I have been binge watching all your videos and hoping to use a lot of your ideas in my own classroom. This is my 18th year teaching pre-k and it has been my passion. I feel children learn best when they are having fun. I am looking forward to watching more.

    I noticed that the teacher was doing a great job by using hand gestures that complement what he said. Children have difficulties understanding the abstract. So he makes the concepts and ideas concrete. Instead of the usual table experiments he did it while they were sitting on the floor to observe and listen using their sense of sight and touch. As soon as he constructed the lesson on egg, then he introduced the writing later to the children. The academic language egg, change, hard and soft are very useful in this experiment. Kudos teacher!

      Get take away from the lesson! I loved adding signs to my lessons! It gave the kiddos a concrete way to hold on to the learning.

    This was a great and simple way to explain a science activity. Im studying all about me (pre k) and this gave me an idea about alike and different. Thank you for sharing 🤗

    You can't add cold, you subtract heat

    Kindergarten has gotten way harder than it was when I was younger. When is nap time? How about show-n-tell?

    • @AaronsHobbiesPresents
      @AaronsHobbiesPresents  Před 6 lety +1

      Dan Gasior it is like 1st grade. We do not have nap time and we only do show and tell of it correlates with what we are teaching.

    • @purplelucrezia
      @purplelucrezia Před 5 lety +1

      It depends on the country and region and the school. In my school we still have naptime (which I think is really important!). At the same time, we do teach science, math, etc.

    • @purplelucrezia
      @purplelucrezia Před 5 lety +2

      I think there is too much pressure for young children to advance academically, which can actually stilt their natural development. Learning needs to be age-appropriate and play-based.

    Fantastic activity and I love how you interact and explain information to your class.
    I am a K-teacher and I have to do a STEM science project with the class to present during school PTC. The project has to be one per class, any suggestions? Thank you very much!!!

    help; Can you please give me suggestion or can you please do a video about it ( first time i son start kindergarten never been to no school settings and no daycare, he having hard time sitting still and follow school rules suggestion please, and keep up the good job great teacher and person

    • @AaronsHobbiesPresents
      @AaronsHobbiesPresents  Před 6 lety +1

      +Lisa Gomes that can be very hard to go to school for the first time. Start with giving choices at home. They more control you give your son, the less control he will take at school. Start with small choices like do you want to read one or two books before bed? Do you want to watch tv for 5 or 10 more min. ETC. Then you can also try and work with him at how to wiggle in a smaller way while still sitting. If you want some great resources, try parenting with love and logic book!
