Love this storyline. But Gail had some nerve. Everytime Martin tried to comfort her when they already knew what happened she pushed Martin away and said they were tainted. Then Gail tries to comfort her and gets pushed away by Martin, she gets all upset and surprised. Feel bad for Martin. U can say we're the rot set in with their marriage
I've never seen this storyline before. I don't usually rewatch storylines that aired before I was born (1997), it's usually the ones from the 2000s. But I'm glad I found this!
Helen said in one of the Corrie books that it would’ve been easy for any actress, young or old, to just scream and shout their way through the storyline but Catherine was so subtle, she just held back every time and that’s what made it work. Yes, obviously inspired by The Hand That Rocks The Cradle. Just think, Carmel could’ve tried to do away with Sally and Gail lol. Martin went with a couple of nurses again after this though, one in 1995 then Rebecca the irritating Geordie one! Helen said he was fickle and they were all younger lol.
