loved watchig this every Saturday morning when I was young. real simple honest good tv with a message in each episode. the 80s were so cool.

I was brought here by a rerun of Corner Gas, the episode "The Littlest Yarbo". I miss old CTV and CBC programs that had that certain Canadiana and showed it to the world in syndication.

I am only 12, but I remember when I was 3 or 4, me and my dad sat in front of our tv set and watched this show, the most vivid scene I remember was when a boy fell off his bike and cut his leg open or something. I believed I watched the second series, which was filmed on video tape in Toronto.

Why I went on to love Quantum Leap that idea you can watch one episode without the ones before & after. That is a brilliant song. I had forgotten what the dog looked like, should still be repeated on TV.

The original theme for this series is a different song entirely. The 1979-1985 version was a continuation of the 1960's series, which itself was based on a 1958 movie of the same name. I only found that out last month. Anyway, the original theme is eFIj9oJmF6w (youtube number) but I still prefer this one.
